Our Daily Prayer for Sunday - Wanda Moreno

“A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.12 She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.13 She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.14 She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. 15 She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants. 16 She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.17 She sets about her work vigorously ;her arms are strong for her tasks.18 She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.19 In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. 20. She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. 21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. 22 She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple.23 Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. 24 She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes. 25 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. 26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. 27 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28 Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her :29 “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all. 30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. 31 Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”

"Encouragement"

Father, thank you for your love and mercy! Everything we do as women Lord we do for you and our families. We wear so many different hats during the day and night. Give us the strength, wisdom, and knowledge Lord to do your work. Direct our steps. As we go about our daily tasks. Use our lips and words to bring you honor and praise. Let our lives be a testament to your goodness and faithfulness. Lord, give us the ability to be a Proverbs 31 woman.

Purify our thoughts. Replace and remind us Lord of your will for our lives. Speak into our lives and lead us into the work that is ahead of us. Give us the vision and purpose to help others in need. Provide the resources and people needed to meet the needs of the Proverbs 31 woman.

We thank you for your love and your mercy, but especially for your grace. In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

Our Daily Prayer for Sunday - Bishop Kenneth Trawick

“Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.”

Daniel 6:3 KJV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Bishop Kenneth Trawick

Food for thought:

A Spirit of Excellence:

Excellence in its true definition is an outstanding feature of quality. In the book of Daniel 6:3 the writer states “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm”. I am sure that all of us would desire this testimony over our own lives. As Christians we have the understanding that excellence in God does not require perfection. God looks beyond our imperfections and sees the desire we have to give him our very best. It is only then can we share with Daniel in this accolade.

Our prayer each day should be that God would help each of us to give our very best in service to him, and to perform each task with the intent of excellence.

Prayer:

God as we face the challenges of this day, help us to give you our very best. We realize from our imperfect vessels flows a sincere desire to serve you with a spirit of excellence. Give us the grace to face the challenges and the confidence that you will make up the difference in what we lack.

In Jesus Name!

Amen

Our Daily Prayer for Friday - Millie McFarland

“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

John 2:24 ESV

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Millie McFarland

O Holy God, I stand Amazed at your splendor and glory. I thank you for your Holy Spirit that comforts and guides me. You are God over heaven and earth; I worship and adore you.

Father, I come to you on behalf of my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that they may seek you in spirit and in truth. I pray that you minister to them and draw them closer to you. I pray that you bring unity among your body. Teach us to be compassionate and to be sensitive to the needs of your people.

Father, I thank you for your unconditional love and for always being there for me and my family. I pray that you heal the broken hearted; give each hope and peace. Wrap your loving arms around each of them and reassure them that you are right there with them. I pray you reveal yourself to each person that needs salvation and draw them by your spirit.

Father, you alone can cause the raging seas to come to a complete stop. You alone can make the winds blow and the mountains to bow down just at the sound of your name. You are Sovereign over all; I worship you in spirit and in truth.

I lay this prayer at your Holy feet and I thank you for hearing my prayer. In Jesus Mighty name I pray.

Amen

Our Daily Prayer for Monday -

“No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,
declares the Lord.”

Isaiah 54:17

Father, in the name of Jesus, Lord I pray that you will send a fresh wind. I pray that you heal our nation; I pray for peace and I pray Philippians 4:19 that, "you will supply all of our needs according to your riches in glory". Lord make a way out of no way; help us to have a clear vision of your glory.

Father we praise you; Matthew 19:26 says, "with God all things are possible". Lord, you came to heal our hearts and set us free! Father, pour your love and kindness into us; give us compassion. Heavenly Father, please open up our spiritual eyes, that we may see your power. Lord, according to your word; we know no harm will touch us; for you are with us.

Father, prepare our hearts to have a relationship with you. Lord, help us to sit at your feet and soak in your presence daily. Soak us in your Love.Father, you are the everlasting God, Creator, Savior and Comforter; comfort us in due time. Your plans and purpose prevails; Lord, we say yes to your will and yes to your ways. Father, please give us the wisdom and strength that comes from you. Father, we give you all the glory and the honor, in Jesus name. Amen
