Faithful Father,

So worthy, so unique.

All women, your beloved.

You know now, as you knew then, their plans and purposes, twists and turns, bended knees and burdens on their hearts. Broken.

All to draw us closer to you. Restored.

The tears collected must be vast, deeper than the ocean. You’ve saved each one.

Be mom, sister, aunt, cousin, or friend, we are your daughters.

May we lean on each other; may we go forward in our Lord’s strength and hope.

Sabes ahora, como sabías entonces, sus planes y propósitos, sus giros y vueltas, sus rodillas dobladas y las cargas en sus corazones. Roto.

Todo para acercarnos más a ti. Restaurado.

Las lágrimas recogidas deben ser inmensas, más profundas que el océano. Has salvado a cada uno.

Sea mamá, hermana, tía, prima o amiga, somos sus hijas.

Que nos apoyemos unos en otros; que podamos seguir adelante con la fuerza y la esperanza de nuestro Señor.

THEME: Strength and Influence of Women

Prayer

Omnipotent Father, you are the all-powerful, the all wise, the all present and the all

knowing God.

I give you honor, glory and praise. Thank you for this new day and the new mercies

accompanying it.

Thank you Lord, that you are not the respecter of persons but all who worship you, who

fear you because of who you are is accepted by you.

This text reminded me that although emphasis is placed on the heroic accomplishments

of great men in the Bible there are also many examples of Women who did great

exploits for you lord, although they could have been killed for doing so. Today I would

like to mention Rahab. She is always mentioned as Rahab the harlot. As we take a look

at her story in Joshua 2-6 we see her strength and influence. She was a Canaanite, but

believed God after hearing how He saved the Israelites when He took them across the

Red Sea. Spies were sent by Joshua to spy out the city as God was about to destroy

the city of Jericho where she lived. She hid the spies by putting them on the roof of her

house and told the King that they had already left another way. She could have been

killed for her actions. She made an agreement with the spies that they would not

destroy her home whenever the city is being destroyed. For her part she agreed to put

a scarlet cord in the window in order to identify her home. She would also gather with

her family in doors.Because of her courage and influence, she and her family were

saved. She later became the mother of Boaz. She is also mentioned in the lineage of

Jesus not for her past lifestyle but for saving God’s people through her heroic act.

Thank you Lord for this and other examples of Women who put you first and made a

difference by their courage and influence. May you help us to always put you first in our

lives. I pray for every woman who is faced with the daunting task of making the decision

to Live for you and to do you will against all odds. Strengthen them and remind them

that you will never leave them nor forsake them

TEMA: Fuerza e Influencia de la Mujer

Oración

Padre omnipotente, tú eres el Dios todopoderoso, todo sabio, todo presente y omnisciente. Te doy honor, gloria y alabanza. Gracias por este nuevo día y las nuevas misericordias que lo acompañan.

Gracias Señor, porque tú no haces acepción de personas sino de todos los que te adoran, los que te temen porque quien eres es aceptado por ti.

Este texto me recordó que aunque en la Biblia se pone énfasis en los logros heroicos de grandes hombres, también hay muchos ejemplos de mujeres que hicieron grandes hazañas para usted señor, aunque podrían haber sido asesinadas por hacerlo.

Hoy me gustaría mencionar a Rahab. Siempre se la menciona como Rahab la ramera. Al echar un vistazo a su historia en Josué 2-6, vemos su fuerza e influencia. Ella era cananea, pero creyó a Dios después de escuchar cómo salvó a los israelitas cuando los llevó a través del Mar Rojo. Josué envió espías para espiar la ciudad cuando Dios estaba a punto de destruir la ciudad de Jericó donde ella vivía.

Ella escondió a los espías poniéndolos en el techo de su casa y le dijo al Rey que ya se habían ido por otro camino. Podrían haberla matado por sus acciones. Ella llegó a un acuerdo con los espías de que no destruirían su casa cada vez que la ciudad fuera destruida. Por su parte accedió a poner un cordón escarlata en la ventana para identificar su vivienda. También se reunía con su familia en puertas.

Gracias a su valor e influencia, ella y su familia se salvaron. Más tarde se convirtió en madre de Booz. También se la menciona en el linaje de Jesús no por su estilo de vida pasado sino por salvar al pueblo de Dios a través de su acto heroico.

Gracias Señor por este y otros ejemplos de Mujeres que te pusieron a ti primero y marcaron la diferencia con su valentía e influencia. Que nos ayudes a ponerte siempre en primer lugar en nuestras vidas. Rezo por cada mujer que se enfrenta a la difícil tarea de tomar la decisión.

Vivir para ti y hacer tu voluntad contra viento y marea. Fortalécelos y recuérdales que nunca los dejarás ni los desampararás.

Padre celestial, alabo y exalto tu santo nombre. Eres Rey de Reyes y Señor de Señores. Eres un Padre bueno y fiel. Te agradezco que nunca me abandones ni me abandones.

Padre, mi propósito y mi fuerza vienen de ti. Me das el deseo de orar por todos aquellos que necesitan tu fuerza. Les pido que sostengan a todos los que están frente a montañas que creen que no pueden escalar o pasar. Tu palabra nos dice que si tenemos fe del tamaño de una semilla de mostaza, podemos decirle a esa montaña que sea removida y se moverá. Creo en tu palabra y sé que eres un montañés. Entonces, les declaro que mueven esas montañas que son obstáculos para sus hijos.

Padre, nunca te apartarás de nuestro lado, estás ahí en cada paso del camino y eso es simplemente increíble y no puedo agradecerte lo suficiente por estar siempre ahí. Padre, oro para que te reveles a cada uno y les asegures que estás allí y que nunca los dejarás ni los abandonarás. Dales la bendita seguridad que me has dado a mí, para que ellos también tengan esperanza en ti.

Padre, te agradezco por escuchar el llanto de mi corazón. Te agradezco y te alabo. En tu gracia y misericordia te elevo esta oración. En el nombre de Jesus.

Food for thought:

A Spirit of Excellence:

Excellence in its true definition is an outstanding feature of quality. In the book of Daniel 6:3 the writer states “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm”. I am sure that all of us would desire this testimony over our own lives. As Christians we have the understanding that excellence in God does not require perfection. God looks beyond our imperfections and sees the desire we have to give him our very best. It is only then can we share with Daniel in this accolade.

Our prayer each day should be that God would help each of us to give our very best in service to him, and to perform each task with the intent of excellence.

Prayer:

God as we face the challenges of this day, help us to give you our very best. We realize from our imperfect vessels flows a sincere desire to serve you with a spirit of excellence. Give us the grace to face the challenges and the confidence that you will make up the difference in what we lack.

In Jesus Name!

I know that you will never leave me nor forsake me. As you have brought me through the toughest of times. I am grateful for your sacrifice, strength, and love. I ask that you continue to renew my heart and mind so that I may be a blessing to others.

Heavenly Father, we humbly come to you with a grateful heart. Everything we have is because of you, O Lord. Thank you, for allowing us to see a new day and to share it with people we love. We thank you for blessing us with wonderful people in our life and for seeing us through every obstacle life brings.

Your Love for us is so great; its beyond understanding. "Greater love has no man than this, that a man would lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13) God commended his Love towards us in that; while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Help us to pick up our Cross daily and follow hard after you LORD.

Help us to be patient and kind to one another and Love without conditions, as you have shown for us. I pray that I can be the person you called me to be for my wife and my children and that our joy may be complete in you. Help me to Love sacrificially and be the Leader of my home so that my family can see you in me. Teach me to be content, forgiving, and patient; making every effort to keep the unity of the spirit, through the bond of Peace alive through my life. I know that I will fall at times and make mistakes, but I believe that I can be forgiven and strengthened by your grace and mercy; your Love is never ending.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!
