Our Daily Prayer for Sunday - Wanda Moreno Bilingual

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Wanda Moreno

Abba Father, I come to you with a heart full of thanksgiving. As Father’s Day approaches, I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I feel sad because I did not have the privilege of having a real relationship with my biological father and on the other hand, I am grateful for my Heavenly Father.

My parents separated when I was very young. I do have faint memories as a child with my dad. Over the years, I was able to contact him and start a long distant relationship with him, however, I always had a void in my heart, a longing, and I wanted more. What I realized in my years of reflection is that sometimes there are people in our lives who are not able to provide what we need regardless of their “Title or Role.”

We feel disappointed and even cheated, at least I did. When my dad passed away, I was able to say goodbye and most importantly forgive him. It freed me of old expectations and desires. I grieved the fact that we did not have a healthy and loving father/daughter relationship; I grieved the fact that I will never know that kind of love between a daughter and her dad.

Nevertheless, I found someone, a man, who can love and can fill my heart with an abundance of love that is so fulfilling it has to be shared with those around me. His name is JESUS! In 2 Corinthians 5:17 it states, therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has gone and the new has come! This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life begun.

My Heavenly Father has been in my life as far back as I can remember! In addition, reconnecting with Him repeatedly has changed my life forever.

In Him I have found fulfillment. In Him I have found joy. In Him I have found protection. In Him I have found provision. In Him I have found peace. In Him I have found wisdom. In Him I have found direction. In Him I have found guidance. In Him I have found father figures. In Him I have found a sisterhood. In Him I have joy unspeakable! In Him, I have been comforted. In Him I am a new creature. In Him, there is hope, purpose and promises.

Abba Father I thank you for loving me. I thank you for guiding me. I thank you for directing my steps. I thank you for your son Jesus who died for me; for the forgiveness of my sins and for His redemptive power. I thank you for the blood that washes away my sins and leaves me spotless. I am so grateful, so thankful, that He left the 99 to come find me. That He walks with me daily, talks with me, and shows me his majesty in His creations every day. Look all around you, new life is emerging. The tress are green again, the flowers have bloomed, the birds are chirping, we are ALIVE!!! Cloth in our right minds, sanctified by the Holy Spirit! He speaks to us, through nature, He shows up in our spirits; He whispers in our ears, He loves me more than anyone ever can.

I can rest and know He watches over me, He promised and I believe Him. I do have a Father, Abba Father, He has never left me nor forsaken me. For that I am bountifully Rich!!! In Jesus name. Amen.

En Él he encontrado plenitud. En Él he encontrado gozo. En Él he encontrado protección. En él he encontrado provisión. En él he encontrado la paz. En Él he encontrado sabiduría. En Él he encontrado dirección. En Él he encontrado guía. En Él he encontrado figuras paternas.

Our Daily Prayer for Friday - Millie McFarland

“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

John 2:24 ESV

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Millie McFarland

O Holy God, I stand Amazed at your splendor and glory. I thank you for your Holy Spirit that comforts and guides me. You are God over heaven and earth; I worship and adore you.

Father, I come to you on behalf of my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that they may seek you in spirit and in truth. I pray that you minister to them and draw them closer to you. I pray that you bring unity among your body. Teach us to be compassionate and to be sensitive to the needs of your people.

Father, I thank you for your unconditional love and for always being there for me and my family. I pray that you heal the broken hearted; give each hope and peace. Wrap your loving arms around each of them and reassure them that you are right there with them. I pray you reveal yourself to each person that needs salvation and draw them by your spirit.

Father, you alone can cause the raging seas to come to a complete stop. You alone can make the winds blow and the mountains to bow down just at the sound of your name. You are Sovereign over all; I worship you in spirit and in truth.

I lay this prayer at your Holy feet and I thank you for hearing my prayer. In Jesus Mighty name I pray.

Amen

Our Daily Prayer for Tuesday - Pastor Kory Beard

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. “

2 Chronicles 7:14

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Pastor Kory Beard

Lord, as we get ready for the days, weeks, months to come I ask that you would put your agenda on the hearts of your sons and daughters. I ask that you would put a burden on the body of Christ, a burden to seek after healing; because we're hurting, broken, frustrated and angry. If there’s anything we need from heaven it’s your healing, Father. Healing in the hearts of men that don’t deserve it. Healing in our communities that are hurting and suffering from oppression. Healing mentally, emotionally and Spiritually.

Lord, we humble ourselves under the shadow of your wings. We as the body of Christ are called to raise our voices by prayer and petition and to stand for justice and righteousness. So, by prayer we cry out with repentance and humble ourselves unto your will. We turn to thy word that is hidden in our hearts that we might not sin against you and collectively as one church we seek your face.

Lord, as the rain falls and waters the earth I pray as your son, let healing rain fall on our nation, and communities all over the hearts of mankind. Where we messed up in one moment with the act of love you can mend and heal every heart back to you.

Abba, heal our land.
