Our Daily Prayer for Tuesday - Millie McFarland

“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.”

1 John 4:18 ESV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Millie McFarland

Theme: "Love Casts Out Fear”

Eternal and Righteous Father, I come into your presence with a heart full of praise and worship. I thank you for your "love" that covers a multitude of sins. Father, I lift your name on high, for you are so worthy of all the praise.

Father, as I think about all the people who are isolated and shut in because of this pandemic; I pray that your "love" envelop them and drive away all the fear that this virus has caused. Give them your perfect peace and give them strength to withstand the darts of the enemy. Father, the word says that your perfect "love casts out fear," so we stand on your word today. Fear has no place in our hearts or our lives. Your perfect "love" has removed fear, doubt, worry, anxiety, depression, low self esteem and condemnation. None of these have a place where your "love" abides; thank You Lord.

Lord, as the days go by I pray that you draw my friends and family closer to You. I pray that each of them that haven't confessed You as Lord and Savior have a true encounter with You. I'm praying that your "love" over take them and that they see, it is only in You that we will have eternal life. Father, it is my hearts desire that everyone give their heart to You and know You the way I do.

Lord, I thank You for inclining your ear to hear my hearts cry. The bible says, as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. I am trusting and believing in that assurance. I lay this prayer at your throne room of grace. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Amen

Our Daily Prayer for Monday - Mother Cheryl'n Staggers

“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.”

Colossians 3:16 NIV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Mother Cheryl'n Staggers

Dear Holy, Majestic Sovereign God, I praise You for who You are. I worship You because You are the True God. I love You because You first loved me, and taught me the true meaning of Love. For this I am truly thankful and come right now before You with a heart of gratitude.

Thank You, for showering down Your mercies and love on me so that I can share them, and do the same for others. Also for forgiving my sins and teaching me to love and forgive others. To press through what I see naturally and to love in the spirit.

I am yours; You have called me by my name. Goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. I belong to God and I have received His Holy Spirit. "Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let's show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe." (Hebrews 12:28 NASB)

Yes, I am my Father's daughter and I am truly grateful that He looked beyond my weakness and into the real me. For this I walk daily with a heart of gratitude. In Jesus name.

Amen.

Our Daily Prayer for Thursday - Reverend Olivia Roberts - MCS Church of God

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will”

Romans 12:1, NIV

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Reverend Olivia Roberts MCS Church of God Leadership Development & Women’s Discipleship President

Sovereign Lord, we approach your throne with gratitude and humility, submitting totally to you as Lord of our lives. Father, we thank you for life and the salvation you have given us in and through your son Jesus.

We pray that we would always present our bodies to you as living sacrifices in holy conditions so that our offerings will be acceptable and pleasing to you. Lord, this is our reasonable service to you that we may come and offer ourselves as we strive towards holiness. Our bodies are yours, our mind belongs to you, or hands are yours, and we pledge to use them to bring glory and honor to you. We understand that we are your "workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10, NIV).

We will use our skill, creativity, and knowledge to work in your kingdom until you come. Father renew our minds every day and teach us to discern what is your good and perfect will for us. Because of the mercy you have shown to us, we desire to live out our lives in total surrender to your choice and your way. You have granted us free access to your throne room, where we will find grace and mercy in our times of need. And thus, we humble ourselves and come boldly and make our petitions unto you.

Father gives us the strength to make healthy eating choices, for we know that we are taking care of the temple you gave us when we do this. Please help us to be mindful of good self-care and how it brings honor to you. If we are healthy, we can fulfill the unique purpose you have planned for us and will then become that godly influence in the lives of those you love. Help us, Father, to keep our eyes, our hands, our speech, and every part of our bodies focused on your instructions as we model your light, your love, and your mercy among neighbors and friends.

Most Holy Father, where we have fallen short of taking care of this temple, we ask for your forgiveness, and we petition you in Jesus' name to help us to remember that our bodies are the temple where your holy presence resides. Grant us grace, peace, and mercy, in Jesus' precious name.

Amen.

From Him comes my salvation.”

Thought: Nothing, absolutely nothing is a surprise to God.

Holy Righteous Father, I come to you with a hopeful spirit. I come trusting that you are above all the earth and therefore sovereign.

I am pleading on behalf of our land, Lord; asking that your mercy and forgiveness flow on this dry land and that you send your healing virtues to minister to our weary hearts. We have strayed from your will and we come before you Holy Father, with a repentant and humbled heart, we lay our battered souls at your merciful feet.

Let your mercy flow into each and every crevice that is dry this season. Make us see clearly where we need to repent and come back into your will.

Heal our land, Lord; give sound council and direction to our leaders, so that they may lead us on the path that is your will, and for our good.

I come on behalf of those suffering loss due to this ongoing pandemic, loss of love ones, loss of their own health and finances. Bless each and every one and heal them so that they bring to others a testimony of your healing power.

I will be careful to give you praise and worship during this trying season. I know that you are a deliverer of your people and nothing comes as a surprise to you. I give you thanks for all the things being worked out in the unseen realm that will ultimately be for our good and for your glory! In Jesus name.

Amen
