Our Daily Prayer for Wednesday - Millie McFarland

“When you go through deep waters,
I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty,
you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
you will not be burned up;
the flames will not consume you.
For I am the Lord, your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
I gave Egypt as a ransom for your freedom;
I gave Ethiopia and Seba in your place.

Others were given in exchange for you.
I traded their lives for yours
because you are precious to me.
You are honored, and I love you.”

Isaiah 43:2-4 NLT

Theme: "Be Encouraged; you shall LIVE & not die"

Heavenly Father, I give you all the glory, honor and praise. I am eternally grateful that you are so mindful of me in everything that concerns me. You take care of me, my family and my friends. You are a good, good Father.

The word assures me no matter what I go through, you are right there with me. If I go into deep waters they will not overtake me and I will not drown. If I go through the fires and struggles of life I will not burn or be consumed by the fire. The word assures me that you O Lord will save me. You gave Your one and only begotten Son to die in exchange for my sins to give me life and eternal freedom. You are the lover of my soul and I am honored to call you my Abba Father.

Father, I pray that you encourage each and every person going through deep waters. Reassure them that you will not let the waters overtake them. Stretch out your arm and pull them into safety. Breathe life into all the dead situations and restore them back to you.

Minister to each person going through the fire and struggles of life and let them know YOU are the only answer. Let them see the fourth man in the furnace; while the flames are blazing, they will not burn nor perish in the fire, because you are their shield from the flames. Envelop each with your love and be their Savior as you have saved me.

Father, I know you love each of us and it is your desire that we all have life and have it more abundantly. So, I turn each over to you and I claim them for your glory. In the loving name of Jesus I pray.

Amen

“Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.”

Psalms 63:3 ESV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Millie McFarland

Theme: "Steadfast Love"

Heavenly Father, I give you glory, honor and praise. I thank you for the gift of life, for waking me up this morning and starting me on my way. I thank you for your "Steadfast Love" that is better than life. You "love" me even when I am at my worst.

Father, I pray for all those that feel alone and all those that are desolate. I pray you wrap your "loving" arms around them and fill them with your "steadfast love." Draw them close to you and let them get to know you. Father, reveal yourself to each in the midst of their storm and be their refuge in their times of struggle. Lord, show them you are their hope and the only answer they need.

Father, as we go through our day help us remember that your "steadfast love" never ends, and that your mercies are new every morning. So, no matter how bad it may look today we have the blessed assurance, that your joy is coming in the morning. Father, you are great and greatly to be praised; your are truly faithful. I pray that each of us hold on to your unchanging hand and cling to your "steadfast love."

Father, I thank you for never giving up on me. I thank you for "loving" me even though I don't deserve it. You are a good, good Father. Today I come before you with a repented and grateful heart, as I lay this prayer at your feet as an offering of "love". In the matchless name of Jesus I pray.

Amen

Our Daily Prayer for Monday - Wanda Moreno

"Let all that you do be done in love."

1 Corinthians 16:14 ESV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Wanda Moreno

Theme: "True Love"

Food for Thought:

There are times in our lives when we are not feeling our best. There are times in our lives when we are tired, exhausted, annoyed, irritated, and not feeling loveable. There are times in our lives when we might feel discouraged and empty. There are times in our lives where our loved ones and friends are in need of our "love," and looking to us to fulfill that basic human need

That "love" might look like a hug, an encouraging word, a card in the mail, babysitting, cooking a meal for someone, sending a scripture verse by text or E-Mail, or a phone call; just to check on how they are doing. That "love" may come in many different forms and may look different to you and me.

We must pay attention and be aware of how our actions reflect the word "love." There are times when we do not feel like doing anything for anyone or even ourselves, let alone do it in "love."

During this pandemic, many people have "loved" us and cared for us. Those on the front lines and those close to us. Those praying for us, those delivering food, those calling on us to rise to the occasion and be a blessing to others, those that fill our "love" tanks with uplifting words, and those meeting our needs when we are sick.

I am eternally grateful that my Heavenly Abba Father, "loves" us no matter what we might be feeling in any given circumstance. His "love" is constant, supreme, never ending and not based on a feeling, His "love" is magnificent, peaceful and fulfilling like none other. He sends His Holy Spirit, His angels, our friends, our families, our pastors, and leaders to "love" us at moments when it was much needed. He is always an on time God! He knows what we need and when we need it. There are times in our lives that we are called, prompted, or even awakened to serve someone and put their needs above ours. That is an act of "love." In 1 Corinthians 16:14 it reminds us, "let all that you do be done in love."

Let's Pray:

Thank you Father, for "loving" us first, by displaying your "love" for us, by sending your son Jesus Christ to die for us on Calvary’s cross; to redeem us and bring us back to your "love." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NIV) gives us an example of what "love" is: "love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes and always perseveres."

In the loving name of Jesus I pray.

Amen

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16 KJV

Theme: "Love"

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before you giving you all of the honor and the praise. My gratitude for all of Your wonderful and marvelous works flows like rivers and streams throughout all of my being.

Lord, thank you for the Living Sacrifice. Thank you for loving us so much that you gave your one and only Son to save a sinner like me! Your "love" for us is immeasurable and unsurpassable! There is absolutely no greater "love"! Your "love" is infinite.

Thank you Father, for demonstrating the greatest act of "love" on the cross. Thank you for establishing the commandments with the sole foundation in every one of them being that of "love". Lord, thank you for the many teachings in the Bible. Your Living Word is filled with acts of "love", courage, sacrifice, forgiveness, trust and faith. Without "love", we do not have any of these things. Holy is your name! The King of Kings, and Lord of Lords!

We "love" because You first "loved" us! Thank you Father, for changing our hearts so that we may be capable of "love"! Lord, I thank you for "loving" me as far back as when I was in my mother’s womb. You are the GREATEST "love" of all!!

Please, help me Father God to exude "love" in everything that I do; to be Christ-like in all of my ways. I ask You this in Jesus’ holy name.

Amen!

Let this song minister to you.

“Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for in perfect faithfulness
you have done wonderful things,
things planned long ago.”

Isaiah 25:1 NIV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Millie Rodriguez

Holy and Righteous Father, I come into your presence giving you all the glory, honor and praise. Lord you are my God and I thank you for your faithfulness. You take care of me, my family and all the people I love; great is your loving kindness.
Father, I come to you with my heart heavy for all the people struggling through this pandemic. I keep getting notices of more and more sick with this Covid. Father, I plead the blood over each afflicted with this disease. I rebuke it at its roots and I send it back to the pit from which it came. Father, raise each up from their bed of affliction and breathe life into each; open up their airways and strengthen their lungs. The bible says that you sent your word to heal our disease, so speak healing right now.

Father, I praise you and thank you for hearing my prayers. You are truly faithful; my trust is in you and you alone. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Amen
