Our Daily Prayer for Easter Sunday - Rev. Grace Reyes

But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. 15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised.”

1 Corinthians 15:12-15 NKJV

Scripture and prayer submitted by Rev. Grace Reyes

Resurrection Day!  He is Risen!

Oh, what a praise I raise today, Oh Lord, what a feeling of gratitude I feel in my heart at this moment, assured of my salvation, unearned and unworthy of its Lord.  Thank you, Lord, that I am reassured that all my sins are forgiven, you gave your only Son to redeem all your people that believe in you.  I cannot begin to articulate how your sacrifice has touched me.  The world comes together today to stand in witness to one another that you live!

Thank you, Father God, that you love us that much, I see that manifestation in each flower and beautiful landscape throughout the earth.  You care for your people and are constantly reminding us, through your word that in you there is peace and safety.  You are a healer and our redeemer.  I pray that each person on the face of the earth will come to this knowledge and truth.

I pray for each person who is alone and hurting today, that the sign of the empty tomb will strengthen their faith and bring them to you.  I ask you to heal today, as by your stripes you said we are healed.  Bless all those who are in war torn areas and Lord touch those who are causing the chaos to be convicted to stop today.  Let peace reign in the Middle East today, You are an all seeing and all-knowing God, with one whisper you can change the hearts of the hardest of men.  Do it today, Lord, change the course of history today, Lord.

I love you my God, I thank you for the victory of Jesus Christ over the enemy and death, we live Lord because you live in us.  Amen

“The Lord is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation;
this is my God, and I will praise him,
my father's God, and I will exalt him.”

Exodus 15:2 ESV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Millie McFarland

Theme: "Strength"

Holy and Righteous Father, I come into your presence thanking you for being my "strength" like no other. I praise You for You are my God, my salvation and You are faithful to us. I exalt your holy name.

Father, as I reflect on 2020 and I think about everything that has transpired, I can't help but give you all the praise because you have brought me through. You have given me the "strength" to get through every obstacle that has come my way. I have learned that in my weakness you make me "strong", you protect me and you sustain me.

Father, today is the last day of 2020 and despite the bad things that have happened you have remained faithful to us. I pray that each reader put their faith and trust in you. I pray that they turn to you for their "strength" when they feel weak. Reassure them that you are with them and you are in control. Father, I pray that 2021 be a better year for everyone and that we continue to put all of our faith, hope and trust in you.

Father, as we say good bye to 2020, I embrace the new things you have for us in this year to come. Thank you again for your "strength" and your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Amen

Thought: Nothing, absolutely nothing is a surprise to God.

Holy Righteous Father, I come to you with a hopeful spirit. I come trusting that you are above all the earth and therefore sovereign.

I am pleading on behalf of our land, Lord; asking that your mercy and forgiveness flow on this dry land and that you send your healing virtues to minister to our weary hearts. We have strayed from your will and we come before you Holy Father, with a repentant and humbled heart, we lay our battered souls at your merciful feet.

Let your mercy flow into each and every crevice that is dry this season. Make us see clearly where we need to repent and come back into your will.

Heal our land, Lord; give sound council and direction to our leaders, so that they may lead us on the path that is your will, and for our good.

I come on behalf of those suffering loss due to this ongoing pandemic, loss of love ones, loss of their own health and finances. Bless each and every one and heal them so that they bring to others a testimony of your healing power.

I will be careful to give you praise and worship during this trying season. I know that you are a deliverer of your people and nothing comes as a surprise to you. I give you thanks for all the things being worked out in the unseen realm that will ultimately be for our good and for your glory! In Jesus name.

Amen

“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.”

Psalms 139:13-14 NIV

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Millie McFarland

Holy and Righteous God, I come before you in total praise and adoration. I thank you for who you are and all that you do. You are my praise and my righteousness; in you alone I trust.

Father, you know me inside and out. You know the innermost part of me, because you created me. Father you know my flaws and my shortcomings so I pray that you help me overcome them. Teach me to do your will. It is my desire to please you and to be acceptable in your sight.

Father, I thank you for seeing in me beyond what people see. For I am your workmanship; I am Fearfully and Wonderfully made according to your image. You knew me in my mother's womb and you know my destiny. I praise and thank you for keeping me in your path. You are my strength and my shield.

Father, I lift me eyes towards you, for you are my help and my defense in times of trouble. Today, I pray for all those that need reminding that you created them and you love them. I ask that you be their shield of defense as they face these turbulent times. Remind them that they are loved and that you care about what they are going through. Supply all of their needs and heal all of those facing any kind of affliction. Restore hope to the hopeless and reconcile them back to you.

I thank you Abba Father, for hearing my prayer and for loving me like no one else can. I praise and worship you in your Holy throne room, as I lay this prayer at your feet. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Amen

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

Mark 11:24 (NIV)

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Millie McFarland

Holy Righteous Father, I come into your throne room with a heart of thanksgiving. I give you all of the honor, glory and praise. I thank you because I know that you hear my prayers and you care about me.

Father, I come to you on behalf of all those struggling financially during these uncertain times. You are Jehovah Jireh our provider; so I ask that you provide for each that is struggling. Open up the windows of heaven and pour out abundant blessings; that no one will be in lack. Open up doors for employment and give them favor that they may have the means to provide for their family.

Father, your word says you will provide according to your riches in glory. So, we are depending on you to provide. The word also says, "you have not seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging for bread." We are leaning and depending on your word. I lift up this prayer because the word says, "whatever we ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." So Father, I am believing your word and I thank you in advance on behalf of all those in need.

Father, I thank you for taking the time to hear our prayers. I worship you for your faithfulness. I praise you for who you are and for all you do. I thank you in faith; for answering this prayer. In Jesus Mighty name I pray.

Amen
