Our Daily Prayer for Monday - Maria Melendez

“that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of “His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.”

Ephesians 1:17-21 NKJV

"Jesus & His Resurrection"

Almighty Father, we praise you for your faithfulness and for sending your son Jesus, our King of Kings, and Lord of Lords; so that we may be saved. Through Jesus’ atonement, He gave us the blessed assurance that each and every one of us born on earth will be resurrected and gain immortality.

He made it possible to for us to be cleansed from sin and broke the chains of bondage of sin, so that we can receive eternal life in the fullness of joy. Satan thought he had power over Jesus, but Jesus Is the Victor. He defeated the enemy and through the resurrection He conquered death.

Lord, help us not forget that one day we will be raised from the dead and we will be in heaven with Jesus. Help us when we fall short. We need to be more Christ-like. Enlighten us. All we need is faith and hope for the future. Give us all the tools we need to live today in a way that brings honor to your Holy name.

Watch over us, give us direction, and keep us safe from harm. We praise you. We worship you. We glorify your mighty name.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen

Glorificamos tu poderoso nombre.

Través de Jesucristo nuestro Señor.

Amén

“Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

John 14:21 ESV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Millie McFarland

Theme: "Agape Love”

Heavenly Father, I give you all the honor and praise. Thank you for waking me up this morning and for showering me with your unconditional "love." Father because of your "love" I am able to "love."

Father, "loving" you is the best thing I have ever done; from the moment I got saved I have experienced that "Agape love" from you. You have showered me with your pure "love" and no matter what I go through you are right there to "love" me through it.

Father, today I lift up all those that are reading this prayer, that don't know you as the lover of their soul. Father, meet each of them at the point of their need; shower them with your "Agape love" and deliver them from the pit of destruction. Lord, reveal yourself to them so they may confess you as Lord and Savior.

It is my desire that each be saved and feel your "love" the way I do. I place them in your hands.

Father, I thank you for inclining your ear to me and hearing my hearts cry. I lay this prayer at your feet. In the mighty name of Jesus. I pray.

Amen

“and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

Romans 5:5 ESV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Millie McFarland

Theme: HOPE

Heavenly Father, I come into your presence with a heart full of thanksgiving and praise. I thank you for who you are and all that you do. You are faithful and your mercies endure forever.

As I think about your goodness and all that you have done for me, my souls cries out Hallelujah and I thank you for saving me. In you I have "hope" and you have given me grace; not because of anything I have done, but because of your loving kindness and mercy. Your love has saved me from guilt and shame and your Holy Spirit comforts and guides me. I thank you Father for the "hope" I have in you, for my eternal life with you. What a blessed assurance to know that through Christ we have eternal life.

Father, I pray that each reader find this "hope" in you. I pray they confess Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I pray each come into fellowship with you and that they too have that blessed assurance of eternal life. I turn each reader over to you Father, meet them at the point of their need.

Father, I thank you and I praise you for your faithfulness. You are great and greatly to be praised. Father, I lay this prayer at your feet and I thank you for hearing my hearts cry. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Amen

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Lashawnda Coleman

Theme: "New Beginnings"

Holy Heavenly Father, Abba Father, Yahweh, our provider who makes all things "new". You created us Lord God, in your likeness and image. "This is the day that the Lord hath made and we will rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalms 118:24 KJV)

Heavenly Father, I come before You thanking You for a "new" day, a "New Beginning", a fresh start to walk in your righteous path seeking your Holy Heavenly face. Father, surrendering my all to You blessed Savior, thanking You for making a way when there seems to be no way. For You are the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father except through the Son (John 14:6) the word also says, whom the Son sets free will and shall be free indeed. (John 8:36)

Heavenly Father, as we have entered into a "New" Year let this be a "new beginning" a fresh start for all those to see, not looking back at the hurt, the disappointments, the let downs that 2020 has left behind. But leaving 2020 where it belongs in the past.

Heavenly Father, I pray that all people of this nation will seek to find that "new beginning" within You and that is in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. I pray they surrender their all, there needs wants and worries. Heavenly Father, I’m praying that You may remove any and all anxiety and all fears. "For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV)

I pray that within this "new" year we seek hope, strength, joy, love, peace and kindness through seeking Jesus. With the expectation of knowing that all things work together for those who love the Lord; praying that this year will be the year of not just "new beginnings" but walking in your righteous path.

Lord God, help us to leave the past where it belongs in the past, not holding on to anything, but to put you first in all that we do. I’m humbly grateful to know that no matter what tomorrow may bring, I know that today as I have open my eyes is a "new beginning".

Heavenly Father, I pray you forgive us of our sins and all transgressions. I turn over our lives to you and today I have begun my day putting my trust in you and only you, Lord. In Jesus name I pray.

Amen

“Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation.”

Thought: Nothing, absolutely nothing is a surprise to God.

Holy Righteous Father, I come to you with a hopeful spirit. I come trusting that you are above all the earth and therefore sovereign.

I am pleading on behalf of our land, Lord; asking that your mercy and forgiveness flow on this dry land and that you send your healing virtues to minister to our weary hearts. We have strayed from your will and we come before you Holy Father, with a repentant and humbled heart, we lay our battered souls at your merciful feet.

Let your mercy flow into each and every crevice that is dry this season. Make us see clearly where we need to repent and come back into your will.

Heal our land, Lord; give sound council and direction to our leaders, so that they may lead us on the path that is your will, and for our good.

I come on behalf of those suffering loss due to this ongoing pandemic, loss of love ones, loss of their own health and finances. Bless each and every one and heal them so that they bring to others a testimony of your healing power.

I will be careful to give you praise and worship during this trying season. I know that you are a deliverer of your people and nothing comes as a surprise to you. I give you thanks for all the things being worked out in the unseen realm that will ultimately be for our good and for your glory! In Jesus name.

Amen

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Millie McFarland

Heavenly Father I come into your presence giving you honor and praise. I thank you that you hear our cries and our prayers and you are faithful.

Father, I come into your throne room on behalf of all those that have loss power and those that have been affected by this storm. I pray that you restore their power and that you sustain them through this difficult time. For I know you are more than able to take care of us.

Father, I pray all those that may have suffered damage to their homes in any way. Take care of them; provide shelter and give them hope. Father, send someone to help those in need and give them provisions.

Father, I worship you through the good and the bad; for we know all things work together for good, so this too shall pass. I love you Lord and I thank you for hearing my prayers and my hearts cry. In Jesus name we pray.
