“My commandment is this, love one another as I have loved you.”

John 15:12

Scripture and prayer presented by: Zayda Casiano

" Love "

Thank you father for your Agape Love, Love that cannot be compared. Love that you had for us since before the foundation of the world. Thank you that before we met you, you loved us first. How not to thank you for your great love! Love that forgives us, rescues us and allows us to enjoy your great presence! I ask God to help us love as you love. With sincere love, with love that does not hold anger, oh grudges, love that forgives without remembering offenses, with love willing to give everything.

We know that it is not with our own strength but with the fullness of your holy spirit. Father, fill us with more of you every day so that your love is reflected in everything we do. I ask you in the name of your son Jesus Amado! Thank you father, I love you!! Amen

Mi mandamiento es este,Amarse unos a otros como yo los he Amado

Juan 15:12

Our Prayer for Christmas Day - Merry Christmas World - Bishop Richard Douglas Morton Jr.

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

John 1:14

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Bishop Richard Douglas Morton Jr.

Merry Christmas!!

Scriptural Insight:

The Christmas story, so poetically recounted in Scripture gives us an insight into the plan of God. The prophecies about what God would do, Now all become flesh, and The Bible says, he, they ( the prophecies) dwelt among them, and the people beheld His glory. The answer to religious obligation and the law is found in Jesus. Grace and mercy come alongside law and judgment, providing us an opportunity to receive eternal life. This is the greatest Christmas gift anyone could ever receive. Jesus. Dear Christian friend, don't count the days, But make the days count.

Prayer:

Father in the mighty name of Jesus, as we open packages, gifts,  and boxes that are wrapped in splendor. Let us be mindful of the greatest gift of all.. That you gave your only begotten son. On this Christmas Day we pause to celebrate Jesus.

Father, for those that are lonely, for those that are grieving, for those that are in pain, I pray you would bring comfort. You, Lord Jesus, as the scriptures declare, are a wonderful counselor. Help us to be the people you have called us to be, Help us to be a living witness to your grace, and to your mercy.

What an awesome God we serve. And like the angelic host declared so many years ago,  "Glory to God in the highest, and on Earth peace and goodwill to all men."

Amen!

Our Daily Prayer for Tuesday - Millie McFarland

“Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

John 14:21 ESV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Millie McFarland

Theme: "Agape Love”

Heavenly Father, I give you all the honor and praise. Thank you for waking me up this morning and for showering me with your unconditional "love." Father because of your "love" I am able to "love."

Father, "loving" you is the best thing I have ever done; from the moment I got saved I have experienced that "Agape love" from you. You have showered me with your pure "love" and no matter what I go through you are right there to "love" me through it.

Father, today I lift up all those that are reading this prayer, that don't know you as the lover of their soul. Father, meet each of them at the point of their need; shower them with your "Agape love" and deliver them from the pit of destruction. Lord, reveal yourself to them so they may confess you as Lord and Savior.

It is my desire that each be saved and feel your "love" the way I do. I place them in your hands.

Father, I thank you for inclining your ear to me and hearing my hearts cry. I lay this prayer at your feet. In the mighty name of Jesus. I pray.

Amen

Our Daily Prayer for Friday - Demetrius Dailey

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:4-7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Demetrius Dailey

Theme: "Agape Love"

Father, first I just want to thank you for who you are! I thank you for exemplifying your word and being an awesome God! Father I thank you for "loving" us so much that you gave us your only begotten son Jesus, and that we can call on Him at all times.

Lord, when times get tough and things aren’t going my way, your "love" comforts me. When people misunderstand and turn their back on me, your unfailing "love" overtakes me and helps me to keep going. When I sin and think that I have failed you, your "love" assures me that You have not forsaken me and have forgiven me. When we operate on Eros, Philia or Storge, you engulf us with "Agape love," that unconditional "love" which we don’t deserve.

Father, your "love" gives us hope, peace, it keeps us in good health, it gives us favor and for me your "love" is addictive and I thank you for always "loving" me and your people!
Amen

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
