“Renewal”

Definition: an instance of resuming an activity or state after an interruption.

David begins Psalm 103: 1-5 by extolling the Lord with His whole heart and proclaiming the amazing benefits we receive when we are in relationship with Him. He forgives us, He heals us, He redeems us, He crowns us, He satisfies us, and He renews us!

The renewal of the mind involves a transformation of the way a person thinks and lives, which can be achieved through the power of the Holy Spirit as we reflect on God's word. By being transformed in this way, believers can discern what is good, acceptable, and perfect according to God's standards.

Prayer:

Father God, I come before your throne with a contrite heart. I ask forgiveness if I have not followed the leanings, you have given me and have instead followed the worlds. I ask that you renew my mind and spirit so that it aligns with yours. Show us your will for our world, show us that which you will have us do that would be pleasing to you.

Renew in us a fire that will burn bright in the darkest of areas of our hearts, strengthen our resolve to seek you with fervor and humility. You are a God who is willing to meet us where we are, and I ask you to please meet those seeking you where they are today. Make the way straight for us and show us your glory.

I ask you to heal broken hearts today, it is in the restoration process we can experience renewal. The one that waters all the dry areas of our soul. Breath your holy spirit into us so we can be reminded that you are the Master, and it is only through your power we can exist. There is nothing that we can accomplish without your help. Thank you, Lord, for making us new and keeping us in your will, Amen.

New Beginnings

Father God in the name of Jesus,

Thank you for a new day and new mercies. Thank you for giving us another year where we can choose to experience new beginnings.

Lord, may we take full advantage of the time we have to go deeper into worship, praise and reading your word. May we focus this year on removing doubt and fully believing that you can do what seems impossible. Help us to remember the importance of the mustard seed size of faith. Help us to remember the meaning and significance of your names: Emanuel, El Roi, Jehovah Jireh and how you come through exactly the way and time we need you. Let us never forget your sovereignty and that you told us we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. Lord, as we go through difficulties with our families, jobs, relationships, and friends; may we remember that you give us peace that surpasses all understanding.

We need you father. Hear our prayers oh Lord.

“Nuevos comienzos”

Padre Dios en el nombre de Jesús,

Gracias por un nuevo día y nuevas misericordias. Gracias por darnos otro año en el que podemos elegir experimentar nuevos comienzos.

Señor, que aprovechemos al máximo el tiempo que tenemos para profundizar en la adoración, la alabanza y la lectura de tu palabra. Que este año nos concentremos en eliminar la duda y creer plenamente que puedes hacer lo que parece imposible. Ayúdanos a recordar la importancia de la fe del tamaño de un grano de mostaza. Ayúdanos a recordar el significado y la trascendencia de tus nombres: Emanuel, El Roi, Jehová Jireh y cómo llegas exactamente en el momento y forma en que te necesitamos. No olvidemos nunca tu soberanía y que nos dijiste que todo lo podemos en Cristo que nos fortalece. Señor, mientras atravesamos dificultades con nuestras familias, trabajos, relaciones y amigos; que recordemos que nos das una paz que sobrepasa todo entendimiento.

Te necesitamos padre. Escucha nuestras oraciones, oh Señor.

Heavenly Father, I came into your presence thanking you for who you are and all you do. You are high and lifted up and your train fills the temple. Great is your faithfulness, O God.

Father, I thank you for being my hope. No matter what I face I am encouraged to know that I have joy, peace and hope in You. You comfort me and You sustain me by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Your word encourages me when I am facing life's challenges, it reminds me that I am never alone, and that you will never leave nor forsake me.

Father, I love you and I thank you for the Hope you have given us through Your Son Jesus Christ. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Padre celestial, vine a tu presencia agradeciéndote por lo que eres y todo lo que haces. Eres alto y elevado y tu cola llena el templo. Grande es tu fidelidad, oh Dios.

Padre, te doy gracias por ser mi esperanza. No importa lo que enfrente, me alienta saber que tengo gozo, paz y esperanza en ti. Me consuelas y me sostienes por el poder de tu Espíritu Santo. Tu palabra me alienta cuando enfrento los desafíos de la vida, me recuerda que nunca estoy solo, y que nunca me dejarás ni me desampararás.

Heavenly Father, we come to you to thank you. Thank you for sending your only Son to bear the cross for us. We worship your holy name. We honor you Father. Because of your love for us, we have freedom in Jesus! Thank you for the blood. The blood that washes away our sins. Oh how precious is the lamb of God. Worthy, worthy is He.

Lord God, help us to trust you more. Lord, envelop us with the desires to go into deeper waters. No longer shall we stand in shallow waters. The time is near. Lord, we reflect on your word in 1 John that there is no fear in love. Allow us Father God, to love one another, forgive one another and release and submit to knowing that as Jesus carried the cross, so do you also carry us in our troubled times. We can rest in knowing that when we fall, You will be there to catch us!

Father, help us to continue growing, living right in obedience, loving right within our relationships, and knowing the truth in sound doctrine. In these last days Father God, gift us with discernment as there are so many traps the enemy sets for us. The enemy will be defeated, in this we wholeheartedly believe!

We thank you and honor you Lord, for all you have done, and will continue to do for your children. We thank you in advance for the answered prayers. We thank you for your unwavering love. We love because You first loved us!!! In Jesus holy name, Amen and Amen.

Padre Celestial, venimos a ti para agradecerte. Gracias por enviar a tu único Hijo a llevar la cruz por nosotros. Adoramos tu santo nombre. Te honramos Padre. ¡Por tu amor por nosotros, tenemos libertad en Jesús! Gracias por la sangre. La sangre que lava nuestros pecados. Oh cuán precioso es el cordero de Dios. Digno, digno es Él.

Señor Dios, ayúdanos a confiar más en ti. Señor, envuélvenos con los deseos de ir a aguas más profundas. Ya no estaremos parados en aguas poco profundas. El tiempo está cerca. Señor, reflexionamos en tu palabra en 1 Juan de que no hay temor en el amor. Permítenos Padre Dios, amarnos unos a otros, perdonarnos unos a otros y liberarnos y someternos sabiendo que como Jesús llevó la cruz, así también tú nos llevas a nosotros en nuestros tiempos difíciles. Podemos descansar sabiendo que cuando caigamos, ¡tú estarás allí para atraparnos!

Padre, ayúdanos a seguir creciendo, viviendo bien en la obediencia, amando bien en nuestras relaciones y conociendo la verdad en la sana doctrina. En estos últimos días Dios Padre, regálanos discernimiento ya que son tantas las trampas que nos tiende el enemigo. ¡El enemigo será derrotado, en esto creemos de todo corazón!

Father God, I thank you for Fathers that stand in the gap. I would like to honor my spiritual father Elder Walter Oliver he is no longer with us, but he left a great legacy.

Lord, I thank you for this guidance. I grew up under his teaching and I thought he was very strict. But now that I’m older I see why he was strict and what he meant about a lot of the things he kept us from. I’m grateful for the discipline he taught me and under his leadership back then we had Sunday morning prayer, Monday night prayer and Wednesday bible class.

I’m so grateful for growing up knowing who God is for myself … He’s gone but never forgotten… one of the scriptures he instilled in me and I will never forget is Hebrews 13:17, “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” I thank you Lord, for providing me with such a godly man that kept watch over me. I am forever grateful.

Padre Dios, te agradezco por los Padres que están en la brecha. Quisiera honrar a mi padre espiritual, el élder Walter Oliver, ya no está con nosotros, pero dejó un gran legado.

Señor, te agradezco por esta guía. Crecí bajo su enseñanza y pensé que era muy estricto. Pero ahora que soy mayor, veo por qué era estricto y lo que quería decir sobre muchas de las cosas que nos impedía. Estoy agradecido por la disciplina que me enseñó y bajo su liderazgo en ese entonces teníamos la oración del domingo por la mañana, la oración del lunes por la noche y la clase bíblica del miércoles.

Estoy tan agradecida por haber crecido sabiendo quién es Dios para mí… Se fue pero nunca lo olvidó… una de las escrituras que me inculcó y que nunca olvidaré es Hebreos 13:17, “Obedeced a los que os gobiernan, y sométanse, porque ellos velan por vuestras almas, como quienes han de dar cuenta, para que lo hagan con gozo, y no con tristeza, porque eso no os es provechoso.” Te agradezco Señor, por proporcionarme un hombre tan piadoso que me cuidó. Estoy eternamente agradecido.

Honoring Mothers:

Father God, we thank you for each and every woman you have blessed with the privilege of motherhood. We pray for expectant mothers, single mothers, adoptive mothers, foster mothers, new mothers, mothers of young children, teens and mothers of adult children. We pray that each of these mothers has a relationship with You; and worships You in spirit and truth.

Place a hedge of protection around every mother. Fill every mother with love, wisdom and joy. Give them the ability to forgive again and again. Guide them to be all that you created them to be.

We pray also for all deceased mothers. May they rest for eternity in Your loving embrace, Father God. Thank you for the time however short or long, that we spent with our mothers when they were here with us on Earth.

May we always be thankful to you for the gift of our mothers. Through Christ Our Lord.

Honrando a las Madres:

Padre Dios, te damos gracias por todas y cada una de las mujeres que has bendecido con el privilegio de la maternidad. Oramos por las futuras madres, las madres solteras, las madres adoptivas, las madres de crianza, las nuevas madres, las madres de niños pequeños, los adolescentes y las madres de hijos adultos. Oramos para que cada una de estas madres tenga una relación contigo; y te adora en espíritu y en verdad.

Coloque un seto de protección alrededor de cada madre. Llena a cada madre de amor, sabiduría y alegría. Dales la capacidad de perdonar una y otra vez. Guíalos para que sean todo lo que tú los creaste para ser.

Oramos también por todas las madres fallecidas. Que descansen por la eternidad en Tu abrazo amoroso, Padre Dios. Gracias por el tiempo, sea corto o largo, que pasamos con nuestras madres cuando estuvieron aquí con nosotros en la Tierra.

Que siempre te estemos agradecidos por el don de nuestras madres. Por Cristo Nuestro Señor.
