Our Daily Prayer for Wednesday - Christy Calloway

"Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you."

Mark 16:6-7 NIV

"Jesus & His Resurrection"

Father God, I praise you. I give you all the honor and glory. Thank you so much for all you do for me and my family and others. Thank you for your unconditional love, that you have for us even when we don't deserve it. Thank you for being a constant companion and most of all thank you for never changing. You are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

Father God, my prayer was as we celebrated Easter this year that millions would truly understand the reality of it all and decide to give their lives to Christ. I pray for all of our unsaved family members and friends. Father God knock on the door of their hearts and draw them to you, so that none may perish but all have everlasting life.

Jesus, already made the ultimate sacrifice for all of us a long time ago. He defeated death and rose from the dead. Because of His sacrifice our faith is greater and stronger. We have joy, salvation, and the promise of eternal life and proof that the word of God is true.

Jesus taught the disciples so much when He was among them and he wanted their joy to be complete and our joy. This still holds true today. He wants what's best for all of us. For all of us, His blood was shed.

I pray that someone reading or hearing this today may hear something they never heard before and decide to make a change in their life. Yes, his blood was shed for you too. Ask yourself, do you want to be lost forever or do you want to know that you know you will end up in a better place with our Father in heaven. Jesus has already proved how much He loves us. His arms are always wide open.

In John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever live by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?

Choose life everlasting. If only one person changes their life today it would be wonderful. My prayer and hope is for many. Just think we will forever be with God.

Hallelujah! Father this is my prayer. I ask all things in your precious Son JESUS' name.

Amen

Our Daily Prayer for Wednesday - Maria Melendez

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.”

Romans 8:31-34 NIV

"Jesus & His Resurrection"

Lord Jesus, thank for living such a humble life and for going through what you went through for us; yet you never condemn us. You went willingly to the cross and died so that we could live. We praise you for your power, presence, and purpose in our lives.

Oh Lord, please pour your Holy Spirit on us daily. May Your resurrecting power shine forth in not only our lives, but the lives of our loved ones. Through the resurrection you were victorious and in turn we are now victorious. We are most gracious and humbled by your mercy.

You died for us and are now interceding for us in Heaven. As you are interceding for us, we in turn are interceding for all in need. Help us to understand the true power of your Resurrection so that we may apply it to our lives as we walk with you and grow with you. May we live for you and do all that is pleasing in your sight all the rest of our days.

In Jesus Christ’s Name we pray,

Amen.

"Encouragement"

Dear God, I thank you for your love that is unconditional. I also want to thank you for your grace that is free and undeserved. There is nothing that I have to do to get your grace; how awesome is that. You are great and full of glory. You are kind and good to me. Your goodness is all around us. I see it in every new day and the brand new mercy you give each day. I see it in the birds that chirp, the sun that rises and in the moon in the night. I see it in every provision, whether it be the clothes we wear, the food we eat and the shelter while we sleep. Yes, your goodness is everywhere. How can I ever doubt YOU exist?? Never YOU are God over all and I see Your goodness in the air that I breathe and in my heartbeat. Thank you for letting me see your goodness in the land of the living!!

I love you! In Jesus' name.

Amen

“The Lord is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation;
this is my God, and I will praise him,
my father's God, and I will exalt him.”

Exodus 15:2 ESV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Millie McFarland

Theme: "Strength"

Holy and Righteous Father, I come into your presence thanking you for being my "strength" like no other. I praise You for You are my God, my salvation and You are faithful to us. I exalt your holy name.

Father, as I reflect on 2020 and I think about everything that has transpired, I can't help but give you all the praise because you have brought me through. You have given me the "strength" to get through every obstacle that has come my way. I have learned that in my weakness you make me "strong", you protect me and you sustain me.

Father, today is the last day of 2020 and despite the bad things that have happened you have remained faithful to us. I pray that each reader put their faith and trust in you. I pray that they turn to you for their "strength" when they feel weak. Reassure them that you are with them and you are in control. Father, I pray that 2021 be a better year for everyone and that we continue to put all of our faith, hope and trust in you.

Father, as we say good bye to 2020, I embrace the new things you have for us in this year to come. Thank you again for your "strength" and your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Amen

“And those who know your name put their trust in you,

for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.”

Psalm 9:10 ESV

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Millie McFarland

Eternal Father, I come into your presence with a grateful heart. I thank you for who you are and all that you do. I worship and magnify your Holy Righteous name.

Father, I place my life in your hands because I fully trust in you. I live securely knowing that you are with me; you never leave or forsake me. I pray Lord, that you order my steps in your word; so I may walk worthy in your sight.

Father, you are the God of Peace and Love; so I place my heart in your hands. I ask that you guard it and protect it from all harm. Continue to give me wisdom and discernment when the enemy tries to come up against me. I pray that you O Lord, continue to shield me from my enemies and continue to fight my battles.

Father, I pray that you minister to each person reading this prayer. Give them hope in you and let them know that they can place their trust in you. Reassure them that you will never let them down and that they have a shield and buckler in you. Be their strong tower and give them strength. I trust that you have everything under control so I leave them in your capable hands.

Our Daily Prayer for Saturday - Millie McFarland

“Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.”

James 5:14-15 NIV

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Millie McFarland

Jehovah Rapha our God that Heals; I offer up praise and worship to your Holy throne. I thank you taking care of me and for healing all of my infirmities. Father, you are great and greatly to be praised.

Father, today I come to you on behalf of every single person that is suffering some type of affliction or infirmity. Your word says, if any among you is sick, to call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil. So, today I call upon the highest Elder you son Jesus Christ to anoint us with his healing power. For the word tells us that; by His stripes we are healed. I stand on your word and declare healing over each and over myself as well.

Father, I also pray that you save and deliver all those that are in bondage of sin. Deliver them from the snares of the enemy and welcome them into your saving grace. Father, my hope is built on your righteousness and I trust completely in you.

Father, I pray that you comfort all those that are suffering in anyway. I pray you give each person confidence and reassurance that the power of your love and grace is sufficient to sustain them in the darkest of times. The word tells us that weeping may endure for a night, but JOY cometh in the morning. I thank you for that blessed assurance.

Father, I speak life over each individual and over myself. I declare healing today through your blood and I walk in faith in my healing. Father, I thank you and I worship you for who you are. In your mercy and grace do I pray sweet Jesus.

Amen
