Come to Me

“So now we come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen (reinforce) us in our time of weakness (tribulation).”

Prayer:

There are times when I wonder how much longer I can go on like this. I’m struggling, Lord. I’ve been disappointed with outcomes, hurt by people, frustrated with myself. I feel tired, defeated because my efforts have been fruitless. I feel out of control and overwhelmed by circumstances, and sometimes I forget where to turn. I feel stranded and alone and embarrassed to face You. And then You lovingly reach out to me—in a dream, by Your Word or through someone and encourage me to come to You.

I’m so thankful for Your love and faithfulness towards me! You sit high and look low and find me in my dark places; Your hear my voice and see my heart. I come to you broken, low and heavy in spirit; You envelop me in love. You comfort me with mercy and revive me with grace. You are a promise-keeper—You have not left me nor forsaken me; You are my Provision, supplying all my needs; You are my Strength, by You I can endure and stand; You uphold me as You fight battles on my behalf and give me victory. Your faithfulness towards me is amazing! I praise and thank You!

I come to You, Lord, praising You in good times and bad, drawing near in illness and in health, blessing Your name in abundance and in lack; I come to You because You are Abba. I come to You because You said I could, and I need You.

Thank You for not giving up on me. Forgive me for my prideful ways. Correct me, Oh God, show me my shortcomings so I can turn from them and draw closer to You. Take those things meant to hurt me and use them for good. Use my brokenness to edify others. Keep me mindful of the good word You have for my life.

Help me remember to come to You with all my cares; for You are my Help; You desire to see Your plan for my life succeed! Thank You for Your overflow of blessings and favor. I praise You, Oh God, Lord of Lords, King of Kings for You are worthy, great and greatly to be praised! So, I'm giving You all the honor, glory and praise; with thanksgiving. I submit this prayer in Jesus’ name.

Holy Righteous Father, I come into your throne room with a heart of thanksgiving. I give you all of the honor, glory and praise. I thank you because I know that you hear my prayers and you care about me.

Father, I come to you on behalf of all those struggling financially during these uncertain times. You are Jehovah Jireh our provider; so I ask that you provide for each that is struggling. Open up the windows of heaven and pour out abundant blessings; that no one will be in lack. Open up doors for employment and give them favor that they may have the means to provide for their family.

Father, your word says you will provide according to your riches in glory. So, we are depending on you to provide. The word also says, "you have not seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging for bread." We are leaning and depending on your word. I lift up this prayer because the word says, "whatever we ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." So Father, I am believing your word and I thank you in advance on behalf of all those in need.

Father, I thank you for taking the time to hear our prayers. I worship you for your faithfulness. I praise you for who you are and for all you do. I thank you in faith; for answering this prayer. In Jesus Mighty name I pray.
