Dear Father,

As our world and country is in uncertain times, I look to you for strength and cover. I see, hear things that are so troubling that I would often lay awake at night with fear. As I get to know and love you more, the fear dissipates and a calmness overtakes me. At times, I chalked this up to apathy and disengagement but I slowly realized that this was not the case. I find myself not just accepting but questioning and digging deeper into your will and word. I do not stand idly by just accepting the status quo, but take action in your name. Only you can control our destiny and with that we need to have inner peace within ourselves. Gone are the days of controlling every action I take, but I look for signs from you, Lord. You have redirected my life in more ways than I can count. Your love is my strength and armor, protecting me from all the evil thoughts and actions that prevail in our world today. Please let us pray for one another as we embark on attacks that are disguised in pomp and circumstance. Lord, let us be discerning of the allurement of the devil in our daily walk. Give us the strength to follow your will always and only follow your designated path for our lives. With all my love from your faithful servant.

Querido Padre,

Mientras nuestro mundo y nuestro país atraviesan tiempos inciertos, busco en ti fortaleza y protección. Veo y escucho cosas tan inquietantes que a menudo me dejaban despierto por las noches con miedo. A medida que te conozco y te amo más, el miedo se disipa y una calma me invade. A veces, lo atribuí a la apatía y al desapego, pero lentamente me di cuenta de que no era así. Me encuentro no solo aceptando, sino cuestionando y profundizando en tu voluntad y tu palabra. No me quedo de brazos cruzados aceptando simplemente el status quo, sino que actúo en tu nombre. Solo tú puedes controlar nuestro destino y con eso necesitamos tener paz interior dentro de nosotros mismos. Atrás quedaron los días de controlar cada acción que tomo, pero busco señales de ti, Señor. Has redirigido mi vida de más maneras de las que puedo contar. Tu amor es mi fuerza y mi armadura, y me protege de todos los malos pensamientos y acciones que prevalecen en nuestro mundo actual. Por favor, oremos unos por otros mientras nos embarcamos en ataques disfrazados de pompa y solemnidad. Señor, permítenos discernir la seducción del diablo en nuestro caminar diario. Danos la fuerza para seguir siempre tu voluntad y solo seguir el camino que tú designaste para nuestras vidas. Con todo mi amor de tu fiel siervo.

Dear Lord,

I come to worship and praise you this day, but also on behalf of those that are hurting and weak. I ask that you have mercy on your people in this land. There are so many reasons to be anxious and down, as we witness the coming of the last days upon us.

Your word says we should “watch and pray” you oh Lord is our refuge in these uncertain and dark times. You invite us to come to you in prayer and you will come and join in our time with you. I have witnessed your power and glory in a faith filled moment, when your presence filled the room.

We need you and we need your strength and Inner peace in our lives. So many in our world are lost and hurting. Wars separate families and destroy so many lives. Help us to be peacekeepers in a land where men seek strife. Give us the courage to speak up in a way that is constructive and edifying rather than contentious and divisive.

Help us to bring together a nation that fears and revers you. Be our guide in the storms we are facing daily. Give us the wisdom to come together in peace and harmony. We are in a place where the truth is not the norm and integrity are seen as weakness. Lord, we need change that only your love can bring about. Help us Lord to pray more, believe more and act in a way that glorifies you always. Amen.

Querido Señor,

Vengo a adorarte y alabarte este día, pero también en nombre de los que están sufriendo y débiles. Te pido que tengas misericordia de tu pueblo en esta tierra. Hay tantas razones para estar ansiosos y deprimidos, mientras presenciamos la llegada de los últimos días sobre nosotros.

Tu palabra dice que debemos “velar y orar”, tú, oh Señor, eres nuestro refugio en estos tiempos inciertos y oscuros. Nos invitas a acudir a ti en oración y vendrás y te unirás a nuestro tiempo contigo. He sido testigo de tu poder y gloria en un momento lleno de fe, cuando tu presencia llenó la habitación.

Te necesitamos y necesitamos tu fortaleza y paz interior en nuestras vidas. Tantas personas en nuestro mundo están perdidas y sufriendo. Las guerras separan a las familias y destruyen tantas vidas. Ayúdanos a ser guardianes de la paz en una tierra donde los hombres buscan la discordia. Danos el valor de hablar de una manera constructiva y edificante en lugar de contenciosa y divisiva.

Ayúdanos a unir a una nación que te teme y te rechaza. Sé nuestro guía en las tormentas que enfrentamos diariamente. Danos la sabiduría para unirnos en paz y armonía. Dear Father in heaven, sovereign Lord, where do we begin? When will the healing come? These days are filled with darkness and distractions. It is hard to know what is true.

We are afraid and fractured: a house divided against itself cannot stand, a nation against itself will come to ruin.

Oh Father, hear our cries for mercy. Give us eyes and ears to see and hear our brothers and sisters in need, no matter their color or creed. Please strengthen our hearts and remove those hearts of stone and make them flesh. Your word is a lamp to our feet and a light on our path. Shine your light upon us, dear Lord, so darkness will not prevail.

Tenemos miedo y estamos fracturados: una casa dividida contra sí misma no puede permanecer, una nación contra sí misma se arruinará.

Oh Padre, escucha nuestros gritos de misericordia. Danos ojos y oídos para ver y escuchar a nuestros hermanos y hermanas necesitados, sin importar su color o credo. Por favor, fortalece nuestros corazones y quita esos corazones de piedra y hazlos de carne. Tu palabra es una lámpara para nuestros pies y una luz en nuestro camino. Ilumina tu luz sobre nosotros, querido Señor, para que la oscuridad no prevalezca.
