"Counselor"

Most Gracious and Merciful Lord in Heaven, Jesus, our Counselor, our teacher. Your teachings and your written word are our inspiration as we walk in communion with you. Your love and comfort is felt in our whole being during the worst of times.

Your soft whisper can be heard when we are in our quiet place. When we are sick and infirm, we feel your embrace. You give so much of You to us. We will grow with grace if we seek your counsel, read your word and seek your face.

Thank you for loving us in spite of ourselves. For forgiveness of all of our sins and for saving us from eternal fire. Bless us Lord. Lead and guide us in ways that are pleasing to you. You teach us, guide us and instruct us with grace and mercy that has no bounds. For that we are forever grateful.

We pray in Your Mighty Name,

"Consejero"

Clemente y Misericordioso Señor del Cielo, Jesús, nuestro Consejero, nuestro maestro. Tus enseñanzas y tu palabra escrita son nuestra inspiración mientras caminamos en comunión contigo. Tu amor y consuelo se siente en todo nuestro ser durante los peores momentos.

Tu suave susurro se puede escuchar cuando estamos en nuestro lugar tranquilo. Cuando estamos enfermos y enfermos, sentimos tu abrazo. Nos das mucho de ti. Creceremos con gracia si buscamos tu consejo, leemos tu palabra y buscamos tu rostro.

Gracias por amarnos a pesar de nosotros mismos. Por el perdón de todos nuestros pecados y por salvarnos del fuego eterno. Bendícenos Señor. Condúcenos y guíanos de manera que te agraden. Tú nos enseñas, nos guías y nos instruyes con gracia y misericordia que no tiene límites. Por eso estamos eternamente agradecidos.

Dedicated to the late Bishop O.G Friddles (Spiritual father and mentor)

Heavenly Father, I come before you today to thank you for all the wonderful fathers you have placed in each of our lives. For those that may not be our biological fathers, but spiritual fathers you have placed in our paths. I thank you Lord for Bishop O. G. Friddles who came into my life at the age of ten years old. Thank you for using him to teach me the ways of God and what it means to be a true man of God.

I pray today, that you will help each of us to realize our responsibilities not only as biological fathers, but also spiritual fathers. Help us to display your love to our children and to all those you place in our care. Help us to be a reflection of our Heavenly Father and a conduit of your grace, love and mercy. For these things we humbly ask. In Jesus name!

Padre Celestial, vengo ante ti hoy para agradecerte por todos los padres maravillosos que has puesto en cada una de nuestras vidas. Por aquellos que quizás no sean nuestros padres biológicos, pero padres espirituales que ustedes han puesto en nuestros caminos. Te agradezco Señor por el obispo O. G. Friddles que llegó a mi vida a la edad de diez años. Gracias por usarlo para enseñarme los caminos de Dios y lo que significa ser un verdadero hombre de Dios.

Oro hoy para que nos ayudes a cada uno de nosotros a darnos cuenta de nuestras responsabilidades no solo como padres biológicos, sino también como padres espirituales. Ayúdanos a mostrar tu amor a nuestros hijos ya todos aquellos que pones a nuestro cuidado. Ayúdanos a ser un reflejo de nuestro Padre Celestial y un conducto de tu gracia, amor y misericordia. Por estas cosas te pedimos humildemente. ¡En el nombre de Jesus!

Eternal and Righteous Father, I give you all the praise and all the glory. I thank you for sending your Son Jesus to be our, Wonderful "Counselor", our Mighty God, our Everlasting Father and our Prince of Peace.

Lord, you are my comfort in my times of trouble. I thank you for your Holy Spirit; for being my "Counselor" and guide. Lord, you have helped me make wise decisions in the midst of my storms. I praise you for you are my shield, buckler and defense.

Father, as we celebrate this Christmas season help us remember that Christ is the reason we celebrate Christmas. Teach us to come to know you for everything you are. You are our Wonderful "Counselor", our Mighty God, our Everlasting Father, our Prince of Peace, our Immanuel, our Alfa and Omega, our Beginning and our End; we are nothing without you.

Father, thank you for the gift of life and for being who you are. I will eternally be grateful. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.
