"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9 ESV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Rev. Millie McFarland

"Encouragement"

Heavenly Father, I thank you for who you are and all that you do. You are merciful and mighty, and you hold me up in my times of trouble. I thank you Father, for your promises that are yes and Amen. You never leave us or forsake us.

Father, I pray that you strengthen and encourage every person reading and hearing this prayer. Remind them that you are with them everywhere they go. Father, be a strong tower and give courage and strength to all that are discouraged. Envelop them in your unconditional love and reassure them that you are right there beside them. Saturate them in your hope, joy and peace that surpasses all understanding.

I thank you Lord, for hearing my hearts cry. I lay this prayer at your throne room of grace. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Amen

“but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 5:8 ESV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Millie McFarland

Eternal Father, I come into your presence with my heart filled with praise and thanksgiving. I thank you for saving a wretch like me. You gave the ultimate sacrifice to reconcile us back to you.

Father, you love us unconditionally and while we were dead in our sins you gave Your Son Jesus Christ to be our Savior. I can't thank you enough because I didn't deserve this kind of love but yet you still gave it for all of us. Father, I turn my heart, my mind and my soul to you. I want to live a life pleasing to you. Forgive us of all unrighteousness and wash us white as snow. That is my souls desire, Father to be in counted in that number on that blessed getting up morning.

Father, I lift up all of those that are deep in their trespasses, lift them up from their pit and deliver them. I pray that they confess you as Lord and Savior. I also lift up all those that are struggling in any way. I pray that they realize that their hope is in you. Reveal yourself to them and draw them close by your Holy Spirit.

Father, I thank you and I lay this prayer at your feet. Let it be a sweet offering to you. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Amen

Our Daily Prayer for Sunday - Rev. Maulin Vanderburgh

“So no wonder we don’t give up. For even though our outer person gradually wears out, our inner being is renewed every single day. We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all comparison, because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal.”

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (TPT)

Theme: “NEW BEGINNINGS”

Reflection:

The year 2020 was one filled with the loss of thousands of lives and other ills brought on by a pandemic. As we push out in the uncharted waters of 2021, we do so with confidence that whatever we face God will be there with us. He has the power to calm the waves.

Prayer:

Our Eternal God and Father, blessed be your holy name. You alone are Most High over all the earth. From everlasting to everlasting you are God and to endless years you will be the same.

We thank you Lord for "New Beginnings". We thank you for this "new" day and "New" Year that you have brought us safely to. We give you glory, honor and praise for your lovingkindness and tender mercies extended to us another time.

Thank you for your steadfast love which assures us that you will never leave us nor forsake us. Thank you for being our immutable God; therefore we have confidence and hope in your word which declares in Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. Thank you for you promise in Jeremiah 29:11:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Father, we do not know what awaits us in this "new" season, but we are confident that you will be with us every step of the way. Help us to remain “steadfast and unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that our labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

I ask Father that you give wisdom, knowledge and understanding to the Doctors and Scientists as they work to find a cure for the Coronavirus. I pray that those who are suffering from this virus and all other types of illnesses be healed in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ. Comfort the broken hearted, those who are grieving, those who are overwhelmed and are without hope.

Lord, I pray for our Religious and Governmental leaders in this "new" season. I pray that you lead and guide them accordingly. Father, I pray for those who have lost their first love and have turned away from you, may this be a season of "New Beginnings" for them and also for those without a relationship with you.

Father, I surrender to your will and to your way. Help us to be closer drawn to you especially in this season. Thank you for sustaining us through the good and not so good times. Help us to contend for the faith and worship you in spirit and truth. Thank you in advance for hearing and answering in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

AMEN

“You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you.”

Isaiah 26:3 ESV

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Millie McFarland

Eternal Father, I give you all the honor and glory; for in you alone I have life and have it more abundantly. I thank you for being my shield and my strong tower. I praise and exalt your Holy name.

Father, I stay amazed at how you take care of me. In the midst of all the chaos out there, you keep me in perfect peace. I know that you are my rock and solid foundation in which I stand and I fully trust in you. My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' love and righteousness. I am secure in you, and for that I thank you.

Father, I pray that each person reading this can find that peace in you. I also pray that they draw closer to you and lean on your everlasting arms. I pray they find shelter in your wings and that they feel your unconditional love. Minister in a personal way to each and meet them at the point of their need.

Father, I thank you for your security and safety. I praise you for your love, your hope and your peace. You are my all an all. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Amen

Our Daily Prayer for Monday - Millie McFarland

“Commit your way to the Lord,

Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.”

Psalms 37:5 NKJV

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Millie McFarland

Eternal God, loving Father, we thank you for your guidance and your protection; we thank you for who you are. Father, we lift your Holy name on high.

Father, as we try to get our lives on track; some are feeling anxious and overwhelmed. Father, we pray that you give each a sense of love and peace that no man can take away. Reassure them that you have it all under control, and if they put their trust in you, everything will be alright. Restore their hope and their faith in you; as the enemy has tried to diminish their belief in you. Father, we come against the devices of the enemy that may attack their minds. Cover them with your blood and protect them from the darts of the enemy.

Father, we don't always understand why we go through things, but we know you have a plan and a purpose for our life. So we cast all our doubts and fears at your feet. I ask that you instil in us the power of prayer, love, faith, service, gratitude and endurance. Teach us Lord, to trust and depend on you.

Father, thank you for loving us and giving us the gift of salvation, through your Son Jesus Christ. Thank you for never leaving or forsaking us; at every moment of our existence you are present with your love and compassion. Teach us Lord, to be more like you; teach us to pray for one another and to draw strength through your word.

Father, we thank you for your love and we thank you for your keeping power. Father we trust in you; we honor you and we lay this prayer at your feet. In Jesus Mighty name we pray.

Amen
