Gracious Father in Heaven, Thank you for your words and instruction. Thank you for your goodness and mercy and for being with me throughout my life. It took so long for me to understand what it meant to trust in you.

When I read your scriptures, meditate and pray, I feel the fullness of your love and mercy on my soul. I can truly understand what it means to put all of my trust and faith in you. How many times did I try to go in one direction and found that it was not the direction I was supposed to take? It took many years to grasp what it was to trust in you. To place all of my trust in you and not in my wants or desires. To learn to seek your face, to read your scriptures, and to meditate on your word.

You have watched over me and protected me from harm. Through the worst of times when I couldn't hold myself up, I knew that you held me up. You are the source of my strength. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Lead me and guide in my daily walk with you. I know your promises for my life will be fulfilled according to your word. Your time is the right time.

Amen

Bondadoso Padre Celestial, gracias por tus palabras e instrucción. Gracias por tu bondad y misericordia y por estar conmigo durante toda mi vida. Me tomó mucho tiempo entender lo que significaba confiar en ti.

Cuando leo tus escrituras, medito y oro, siento la plenitud de tu amor y misericordia en mi alma. Realmente puedo entender lo que significa poner toda mi confianza y fe en ti. ¿Cuántas veces traté de ir en una dirección y descubrí que no era la dirección que se suponía que debía tomar? Me tomó muchos años comprender lo que era confiar en ti. Poner toda mi confianza en ti y no en mis necesidades o deseos. Para aprender a buscar tu rostro, leer tus escrituras y meditar en tu palabra.

Tú me has cuidado y me has protegido de todo mal. En los peores momentos en los que no podía sostenerme, supe que tú me sostenías. Eres la fuente de mi fuerza. Lléname con tu Espíritu Santo. Condúceme y guíame en mi caminar diario contigo. Sé que tus promesas para mi vida se cumplirán conforme a tu palabra. Tu tiempo es el momento adecuado.

Father Almighty, please wrap your loving arms around me. You and you alone are my comforter. I find myself overwhelmed and powerless. Knowing that your love for me never waivers, helps me get through the storm of emotions. As with storms, wild winds can blind you, resulting in not being able to see what’s ahead.

Lord, your word is my compass and you will steer me in the right direction. The journey for your will in my life is not always easy. I need to "trust" you always and be obedient along the way. My tears need to be reminders of me bearing my thoughts to you dear Lord. Let the tears cleanse my soul as the Holy Spirit fills me with your love.

Lord, heal my sorrow and show me hope along the way. My road may not be smooth, but it will bring me to my destination. My destination being Christ’s salvation. Only you, Lord, have the power to place me on your “Rock of Safety."

Let me "trust" you with my pain Lord, knowing that your love for me will bring me hope. As storms subside, my pain will as well knowing that my loving Father will always carry me to safety.

Jesus, I place my "trust" in you.

Padre Todopoderoso, por favor envuélveme con tus amorosos brazos. Tú y solo tú eres mi consolador. Me encuentro abrumado e impotente. Saber que tu amor por mí nunca renuncia, me ayuda a superar la tormenta de emociones. Al igual que con las tormentas, los vientos salvajes pueden cegarlo y hacer que no pueda ver lo que se avecina.

Señor, tu palabra es mi brújula y me guiarás en la dirección correcta. El viaje por tu voluntad en mi vida no siempre es fácil. Necesito "confiar" en ti siempre y ser obediente en el camino. Mis lágrimas deben ser recordatorios de que le llevo mis pensamientos, querido Señor. Deja que las lágrimas limpien mi alma como el Espíritu Santo me llena de tu amor.

Señor, sana mi dolor y muéstrame esperanza en el camino. Puede que mi camino no sea suave, pero me llevará a mi destino. Mi destino es la salvación de Cristo. Solo tú, Señor, tienes el poder de colocarme en tu "Roca de la Seguridad".

Déjame "confiarte" mi dolor Señor, sabiendo que tu amor por mí me traerá esperanza. A medida que disminuyan las tormentas, mi dolor también lo hará sabiendo que mi Padre amoroso siempre me llevará a un lugar seguro.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for another day of life and being in your presence. I exalt your holy and righteous name. I thank you for your strength and for being such a good father.

God, I am so grateful to you for never leaving or forsaking me. You have been my shelter in times of storms. You have been my shield, my defense and my salvation during my times of trouble. You are my God and I will forever praise and worship you.

Father, I lift up every reader that may be struggling in any way. I pray that you be their deliverer in times of trouble. I pray that you shelter them from all storms. I pray that You Jehovah Jireh be their provider and meet their every need. I also pray if there be any sick that you Jehovah Rapha be their healer. Raise them up and restore them back to health. I also pray for everyone that does not have a father in their lives. I ask that you O God be the father to the fatherless and draw them close by your Holy Spirit. Give them strength to make it through.

Father, I thank you for hearing my hearts cry. I lay this prayer at your feet and I thank you in advance for answering it. In Jesus name.

Dios, te estoy muy agradecido por nunca dejarme ni desampararme. Has sido mi refugio en tiempos de tormenta. Tú has sido mi escudo, mi defensa y mi salvación en mis tiempos de angustia. Tú eres mi Dios y te alabaré y adoraré por siempre.

Padre, levanto a cada lector que pueda estar teniendo dificultades de alguna manera. Oro para que seas su libertador en tiempos de angustia. Oro para que los protejas de todas las tormentas. Food for thought:

One of the greatest blessings in my life is the blessing of being a father. In a world where fathers are missing in the lives of their children, we hold fast to the words found here in Malachi. Truly, there is a need for God to turn the hearts of the fathers back to their children and the relationship that was ordained by God to be reestablished.

Seeing my two sons develop into great men of God and loving fathers has been a great comfort to me. God help each of us men to cherish our role as fathers, grandfathers, and spiritual fathers. We have a mandate from our Heavenly Father to exemplify His love and grace on this earth. We will accept the challenge with confidence knowing that God is with us and that he will give us the strength and courage to prevail.

Prayer:

Dear God, as we face the challenges of fatherhood, give us the courage and strength needed for the task. Help us Lord to be a light for our children, and to leave clear footprints on our journey that they can follow safely. Rebuild relationships that have been broken, and knit the heart of each father and child together with cords that cannot be broken. It is from you that we gain our knowledge and strength to be the fathers that you have called us to be. Grant these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Una de las mayores bendiciones de mi vida es la bendición de ser padre. En un mundo donde los padres faltan en la vida de sus hijos, nos aferramos a las palabras que se encuentran aquí en Malaquías. Verdaderamente, es necesario que Dios vuelva el corazón de los padres hacia sus hijos y que se restablezca la relación que Dios ordenó.

Ver a mis dos hijos convertirse en grandes hombres de Dios y padres amorosos ha sido un gran consuelo para mí. Dios nos ayude a cada uno de los hombres a valorar nuestro papel de padres, abuelos y padres espirituales. Tenemos un mandato de nuestro Padre Celestial de ejemplificar Su amor y gracia en esta tierra. Aceptaremos el desafío con confianza sabiendo que Dios está con nosotros y que nos dará la fuerza y el valor para vencer.

Oración:

Amado Dios, al enfrentar los desafíos de la paternidad, danos el valor y la fuerza necesarios para la tarea. Ayúdanos Señor a ser una luz para nuestros hijos y a dejar huellas claras en nuestro viaje que puedan seguir con seguridad. Reconstruya las relaciones que se han roto y entrelace el corazón de cada padre e hijo con cuerdas que no se puedan romper. When I think of Father's Day now, I think of God. My natural father was so, by name only. My mother had the roles of being both my mom and dad. She was an awesome woman.

As a young girl in grammar school I would be in my room often talking to God. My mom would ask me, "who I was talking to?" I would say no one. I even had to go see a psychiatrist, but I never explained who I was talking to. Why, I don't know, but I continued to talk to Him. God never forgot or left me me during my silent years with Him. He waited for me and when I cried out to Him for help and forgiveness, He didn't judge me. He embraced me with love, cleaned me up and directed me to the right path, and He is walking with me till this day.

Yes, He is my Abba, my Father God. I give Him all honor, praise and thanksgiving with a grateful heart. I pray today that God will bless every man who is a father or father figure/role model for someone. I pray that He anoints them in His Word, strengthen them during these challenging times and encourage them to press forward demonstrating His love, grace, peace, and compassion.

Cuando pienso en el Día del Padre ahora, pienso en Dios. Mi padre biológico lo era, solo por su nombre. Mi madre tenía el papel de ser tanto mi madre como mi padre. Ella era una mujer asombrosa.

Cuando era una niña en la escuela primaria, solía estar en mi habitación hablando con Dios. Mi mamá me preguntaba "¿con quién estaba hablando?" Yo diría que nadie. Incluso tuve que ir a ver a un psiquiatra, pero nunca le expliqué con quién estaba hablando. Por qué, no lo sé, pero seguí hablando con él. Dios nunca me olvidó ni me dejó durante mis años de silencio con Él. Él me esperó y cuando le pedí ayuda y perdón, Él no me juzgó. Él me abrazó con amor, me limpió y me dirigió al camino correcto, y Él está caminando conmigo hasta el día de hoy.

Sí, Él es mi Abba, mi Padre Dios. Le doy todo el honor, alabanza y acción de gracias con un corazón agradecido. Oro hoy para que Dios bendiga a todo hombre que sea padre o figura paterna / modelo a seguir para alguien. Oro para que Él los unja en Su Palabra, los fortalezca durante estos tiempos desafiantes y los anime a seguir adelante demostrando Su amor, gracia, paz y compasión.

Father God, I thank you for my father and my mother. Although both have raised me in You, but my mom is the one that has taught me the importance of prayer. I honor my mom today for making sure I started my day with prayer and I ended my day with prayer.

I thank You for giving me a mom that puts You first and made sure that we do the same. I pray that You continue to use more women like my mom to minister to not only their children but all that surround her. Raise up more women that are willing to pray and minister to all that are hurting. Give each of them your strength so they may lift up those that are weak.

I thank you for bringing me this far and I pray that I too can be an example of your love. In Jesus name.

Dios Padre, te doy gracias por mi padre y mi madre. Aunque ambos me han criado en Ti, pero mi mamá es la que me ha enseñado la importancia de la oración. Honro a mi mamá hoy por asegurarme de que comencé mi día con oración y terminé mi día con oración.

Te agradezco por darme una mamá que te pone a ti primero y se aseguró de que nosotros hiciéramos lo mismo. Oro para que sigas usando a más mujeres como mi mamá para ministrar no solo a sus hijos sino a todo lo que la rodea. Levante más mujeres que estén dispuestas a orar y ministrar a todos los que están sufriendo. Dale a cada uno de ellos tu fuerza para que puedan levantar a los débiles.
