Lord, on this day in which we honor mothers, may we love and cherish the special women who have born us, who have nurtured us, and who have prayed for our well-being. May our hearts overflow with gratitude to you, who formed and knitted each of us in a mother’s womb. We pray you give each mom strength. We ask you to be the daily bread of tired mothers. May each mother find rest in you.

Amen.

Lord, I lift to You, my mother. I would like to express my gratitude for having her in my life.

Thank You for blessing us with such a remarkable woman, as she is the bedrock of our family and the glue that holds us all together. Lord, thank You for giving her patience, grace, and love even when I haven’t been the best son. Thank You for the wisdom You gave her as she raised me, for I wouldn’t be the man I am today without her love, support, and guidance. I pray that I will be able to create more memories with her that she can treasure and cherish in her heart. May You continue to bless her abundantly and keep her in good health. May You strengthen, guard, and protect my mother.

Señor, te levanto, madre mía. Me gustaría expresar mi gratitud por tenerla en mi vida.

Gracias por bendecirnos con una mujer tan notable, ya que ella es la base de nuestra familia y el pegamento que nos mantiene a todos juntos. Señor, gracias por darle paciencia, gracia y amor, incluso cuando no he sido el mejor hijo. Gracias por la sabiduría que le diste cuando me crió, porque no sería el hombre que soy hoy sin su amor, apoyo y guía. Rezo para poder crear más recuerdos con ella que ella pueda atesorar y atesorar en su corazón. Que la sigas bendiciendo abundantemente y manteniéndola en buena salud. Honoring Mothers:

Father God, we thank you for each and every woman you have blessed with the privilege of motherhood. We pray for expectant mothers, single mothers, adoptive mothers, foster mothers, new mothers, mothers of young children, teens and mothers of adult children. We pray that each of these mothers has a relationship with You; and worships You in spirit and truth.

Place a hedge of protection around every mother. Fill every mother with love, wisdom and joy. Give them the ability to forgive again and again. Guide them to be all that you created them to be.

We pray also for all deceased mothers. May they rest for eternity in Your loving embrace, Father God. Thank you for the time however short or long, that we spent with our mothers when they were here with us on Earth.

May we always be thankful to you for the gift of our mothers. Through Christ Our Lord.

Honrando a las Madres:

Padre Dios, te damos gracias por todas y cada una de las mujeres que has bendecido con el privilegio de la maternidad. Oramos por las futuras madres, las madres solteras, las madres adoptivas, las madres de crianza, las nuevas madres, las madres de niños pequeños, los adolescentes y las madres de hijos adultos. Oramos para que cada una de estas madres tenga una relación contigo; y te adora en espíritu y en verdad.

Coloque un seto de protección alrededor de cada madre. Llena a cada madre de amor, sabiduría y alegría. Dales la capacidad de perdonar una y otra vez. Guíalos para que sean todo lo que tú los creaste para ser.

Oramos también por todas las madres fallecidas. Que descansen por la eternidad en Tu abrazo amoroso, Padre Dios. Gracias por el tiempo, sea corto o largo, que pasamos con nuestras madres cuando estuvieron aquí con nosotros en la Tierra.

My word, which comes from my mouth, is like the rain and snow. It will not come back to me without results. It will accomplish whatever I want and achieve whatever I send it to do.”

Dedicated to my mother Amanda Wells and paternal grandmother Emma Ruth Wells. You both dragged me to church. I didn’t understand it and thought it was a boring and very dysfunctional experience but God had a plan. Through your faith, prayer, and tenacity, you proved this scripture to be the absolute truth!

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray for every mother and every child that doesn’t see the hope in going to church right now. There may be parents with rebellious teens or unsaved spouses who resist their commitment to worship your God. It is a daily fight to say, “As for me and my house WE shall serve the Lord!” I lift the family members who are holding up the blood-stained banner and trying to show love in spite of the warfare in their household. Even adult children and grandchildren!

I encourage you today! Look at me! Your labor is NOT in vain! God can do ANYTHING! HALLELUJAH!!!! Keep pressing! Keep praying! Keep serving, setting boundaries, and being kind! Keep being a human in the sense of meeting your unsaved loved ones where they are, in love and honesty. His compassions fail not and pray! Pray! Pray! God hears! God saves! God will deliver! God will restore!

God you are the nourisher of Your Word in our family’s souls! Lord of the Harvest, You are the harvester of their souls. We command that skillful laborers, by the thousands, be sent to them NOW! In Jesus’ name! Speak to them in ways that they KNOW that it is You! We bless You Father that Your Word is potent! All powerful and everlasting until the end of time! We stand on it knowing all of our loved ones and household will be saved and serving You all the days of their lives. No matter WHAT it looks like! We patiently wait for the manifestation, refusing to get into strife and dig up what we’ve sown in faith.

Dedicado a mi madre Amanda Wells y abuela paterna Emma Ruth Wells. Ambos me arrastraron a la iglesia. No lo entendí y pensé que era una experiencia aburrida y muy disfuncional, pero Dios tenía un plan. ¡A través de su fe, oración y tenacidad, demostró que esta escritura es la verdad absoluta!

Querido Padre Celestial, oro por cada madre y cada niño que no ve la esperanza de ir a la iglesia en este momento. Puede haber padres con adolescentes rebeldes o cónyuges no salvos que se resisten a su compromiso de adorar a tu Dios. Es una lucha diaria decir: “¡Yo y mi casa serviremos al Señor!” Levanto a los miembros de la familia que sostienen el estandarte manchado de sangre y tratan de mostrar amor a pesar de la guerra en su hogar. ¡Incluso hijos adultos y nietos!

¡Te animo hoy! ¡Mírame! ¡Tu trabajo NO es en vano! ¡Dios puede hacer TODO! ALELUYA!!!! ¡Sigue presionando! ¡Sigue rezando! ¡Sigue sirviendo, estableciendo límites y siendo amable! Sigue siendo humano en el sentido de encontrarte con tus seres queridos no salvos donde están, con amor y honestidad. ¡Sus misericordias no desfallecen y orad! ¡Orar! ¡Orar! ¡Dios escucha! ¡Dios salva! ¡Dios librará! ¡Dios restaurará!

¡Dios, tú eres el sustentador de Tu Palabra en las almas de nuestra familia! Señor de la Cosecha, Tú eres el segador de sus almas. ¡Ordenamos que se les envíen trabajadores hábiles, por miles, AHORA MISMO! ¡En el nombre de Jesus! ¡Háblales de manera que SEPA que eres Tú! ¡Te bendecimos Padre que Tu Palabra es potente! ¡Todopoderoso y eterno hasta el fin de los tiempos! Heavenly Father, I thank you so much for my mother who was such a loving and awesome Mom. She showed us so much love and compassion growing up. She guided us and taught us so much, even before we went to school.

She was such a loving person and was such an beautiful example of what a mother should be. Thank you God, for a mother who taught us right from wrong, taught us to be polite to others and have respect for elders.

She prayed daily, taught us how to pray, and always prayed for those that had less than we did. Thank you, dear God, that in our early years, our youth, and even as adults, Mom was always there supporting us, guiding us, and loving us with a love that is like no other.

We pray dear Father, that you guide and protect all mothers. Fill them with your everlasting love. May all bonds with mothers and children be forever strengthened through love and prayer, peace and understanding.

In Jesus name.

Padre celestial, te agradezco mucho por mi madre, que fue una mamá tan amorosa e increíble. Ella nos mostró tanto amor y compasión mientras crecíamos. Ella nos guió y nos enseñó mucho, incluso antes de que fuéramos a la escuela.

Era una persona tan cariñosa y un ejemplo tan hermoso de lo que debe ser una madre. Gracias Dios, por una madre que nos enseñó el bien del mal, nos enseñó a ser amables con los demás y a tener respeto por los mayores.

Rezaba a diario, nos enseñaba a rezar y siempre rezaba por los que tenían menos que nosotros. Gracias, amado Dios, que en nuestros primeros años, nuestra juventud e incluso como adultos, Mamá siempre estuvo ahí apoyándonos, guiándonos y amándonos con un amor que no tiene igual.

Te rogamos querido Padre, que guíes y protejas a todas las madres. Llénalos con tu amor eterno. Que todos los lazos con las madres y los niños se fortalezcan para siempre a través del amor y la oración, la paz y la comprensión.

Lord God, I thank you for Mother Staggers life today, I thank you for blessing me with her in my journey. Thank you for giving her the words of wisdom and patience when I have been wary and in need of encouragement and sought her counsel.

I give you Glory and Honor Lord, for knowing that we all need to have someone we can go to for advice and love. I ask you Lord, that you bless her as she goes about her tasks, and you continue to give her strength and health. There is much work still for her to accomplish on this earth.

Fill her with joy that overflows and touches others. Fill her with a peace that surpasses all understanding, because it will help others to feel it too. Make a way in her daily life that all her petitions be answered, and she can rest in your arms always.

So many of us need to have an anchor and I thank you for blessing my life with this strong faithful woman who has shown me unconditional love and encouragement. Bless all the mothers in the world and the women who so courageously meet the daily challenges for their families. Thank you, Lord, for blessing me with Mother.

Señor Dios, te agradezco por la vida de Mother Staggers hoy, te agradezco por bendecirme con ella en mi viaje. Gracias por darle las palabras de sabiduría y paciencia cuando he estado cauteloso y necesitado de aliento y busqué su consejo.

Te doy Gloria y Honra Señor, por saber que todos necesitamos tener a quien acudir en busca de consejo y amor. Te pido Señor, que la bendigas en sus tareas y le sigas dando fuerza y salud. Todavía le queda mucho trabajo por hacer en esta tierra.

Llénala de alegría que desborda y toca a los demás. Llénala de una paz que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, porque ayudará a otros a sentirla también. Haz un camino en su vida diaria para que todas sus peticiones sean atendidas, y ella pueda descansar en tus brazos siempre.

Muchos de nosotros necesitamos tener un ancla y te agradezco por bendecir mi vida con esta mujer fuerte y fiel que me ha mostrado amor y aliento incondicionales. Lord, we are so grateful for the gift of our mothers. Their love and caring can only be compared to Yours. You've given them the ability to anticipate our needs and always be there for us. When no one else believed in us, they thought we could do anything.

They always had high hopes for us even when we had none. How many people could ever reach the level of trust we have with our mothers? Always willing to sacrifice for us and put the needs of the family before theirs. Truly our Moms are not appreciated enough for all their hard work.

Thank you Lord, for the amazing gift of our Moms who love us no matter what!

Señor, estamos muy agradecidos por el regalo de nuestras madres. Su amor y cuidado solo pueden compararse con los tuyos. Les has dado la capacidad de anticipar nuestras necesidades y estar siempre ahí para nosotros. Cuando nadie más creía en nosotros, pensaban que podíamos hacer cualquier cosa.

Siempre tuvieron grandes esperanzas en nosotros, incluso cuando no teníamos ninguna. ¿Cuántas personas podrían alcanzar el nivel de confianza que tenemos con nuestras madres? Siempre dispuesto a sacrificarse por nosotros y anteponer las necesidades de la familia a las de ellos. Verdaderamente, nuestras mamás no son lo suficientemente apreciadas por todo su arduo trabajo.

¡Gracias Señor, por el increíble regalo de nuestras mamás que nos aman sin importar nada!
