“I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.”
Psalm 121:1-2 NKJV
Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Millie McFarland
Holy and Righteous Father, I lift my eyes up to you in total worship. I praise you for you are my strong tower and my shield. I lift up your Holy name and I extol you.
Father, I thank you for inclining your ear to me when I call you. You are my help and my Lord; the maker of heaven and earth. I will forever praise your Holy and Righteous name.
Lord, I pray for all those that are isolated and alone. I ask that they look up to hills from which comes their help and that they depend on you. Reassure them that you are there; that you do not leave or forsake them. Strengthen them and give them a peace of mind. I pray that you undergird them with your power, so when the enemy comes at them they will rebuke the attacks on their lives. Father, teach them to depend on you and to not be afraid.
Father, I thank you for who you are and all that you do. For you are faithful and you are so good. I lay this prayer at your Holy feet. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.
Amen
