Dear Father in heaven, we thank you for the blessings you give us on earth, for it is through your gifts and work, and through the work of your children, that we can believe and be saved. Protect us here in our household. Let us make allowances for one another in love and spare no effort to maintain unity in the Spirit through the bond of peace. Grant us new strength and new gifts whenever we need them on the path you have set for us. Grant that we may rejoice and trust in you until we reach the goal. Amen

Father God,

I bow before you an I worship your Holy name. I ask that you bless each person that has come today seeking a blessed reassurance that you are real and that you will answer whatever petitions that you have on your heart today. I ask that you give them a peace in the knowledge that your word promises them an abundant life and a joyful one. That there is nothing that is too hard for you.

Meet them Lord, at their point of need and protect them and their loved ones from harm. You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider and we walk confident in our faith in you. Please deliver us from the snare of the fowler and the destructive path the enemy would have us walk in.

We praise and worship you alone, we give witness to your wonderful blessings in that we are a redeemed people walking each other home. Amen

Me inclino ante ti y adoro tu Santo nombre. Te pido que bendigas a cada persona que ha venido hoy en busca de la bendita seguridad de que eres real y de que responderás a cualquier petición que tengas en tu corazón hoy. Te pido que les des la paz sabiendo que tu palabra les promete una vida abundante y gozosa. Que no hay nada que sea demasiado difícil para ti.

Encuéntralos Señor, en su punto de necesidad y protégelos a ellos y a sus seres queridos del daño. Eres Jehová Jireh, nuestro proveedor y caminamos confiados en nuestra fe en ti. Por favor, líbranos del lazo del cazador y del camino destructivo en el que el enemigo quiere que caminemos.

Te alabamos y adoramos solo a ti, damos testimonio de tus maravillosas bendiciones en que somos un pueblo redimido caminando unos a otros a casa. Amén

“When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. 6 “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”

7 Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”

8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.”

Two things that stand out most in the account of this story.

One is that the centurion not only recognized the Authority that Jesus had but he submitted to it by faith. He understood what it meant to speak and have it obeyed. He did not need to see Jesus touch his servant. He knew that he would only need to speak the Word, and that his servant would be healed.

The second is that he knew that he could take Jesus at his word. If Jesus said that it would happen, he believed that it would!

Oh that we would have this same level of faith to believe God’s Word and His Promises. If we will believe that what Jesus says is true then by faith we can submit all doubts and take him at his word. We can rest in assurance that it will come to pass.

Prayer:

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that you would give me faith like this centurion soldier who understood and believed that you only had to speak the word, and it would come to pass. I pray that I would acknowledge your authority and submit to it, knowing that you are able to accomplish and do all that you say. When I bring a petition before you may I have the faith to believe that your word is true, and that everything you speak will come to pass. Jesus, you declared that the centurion soldier had more faith than you have seen. I pray that you would be able to declare that same thing about me. I pray, as the disciples prayed that you would increase my faith.

In Jesus Name, Amen!

Dos cosas que se destacan más en el relato de esta historia.

Una es que el centurión no solo reconoció la Autoridad que Jesús tenía sino que se sometió a ella por fe. Comprendió lo que significaba hablar y hacerlo obedecer. No necesitaba ver a Jesús tocar a su siervo. Sabía que solo necesitaría hablar la Palabra, y que su siervo sería sanado.

La segunda es que sabía que podía tomar la palabra de Jesús. Si Jesús dijo que sucedería, ¡creía que sucedería!

Oh, que tuviéramos este mismo nivel de fe para creer en la Palabra de Dios y sus promesas. Si creemos que lo que Jesús dice es verdad, entonces por fe podemos someter todas las dudas y tomarle la palabra. Podemos estar seguros de que sucederá.

Oración:

Padre, en el nombre de Jesús, te pido que me des fe como este centurión soldado que entendió y creyó que solo tenías que decir la palabra, y sucedería. Ruego poder reconocer tu autoridad y someterme a ella, sabiendo que puedes lograr y hacer todo lo que dices. Cuando presente una petición ante ti, que tenga la fe para creer que tu palabra es verdadera y que todo lo que dices se cumplirá. Jesús, declaraste que el soldado centurión tenía más fe de la que has visto. Rezo para que puedas declarar lo mismo sobre mí. Oro, como oraron los discípulos, para que aumentes mi fe.

En el nombre de Jesús, ¡Amén!

Lord God, heavenly Father, we are poor, miserable sinners. We know your will, but we are too weak to fulfill it. Our flesh and blood hold us back, and our enemy - the devil - will not leave us in peace.

Pour your Holy Spirit in our hearts, that with steadfast faith we may cling to your Son Jesus Christ, find comfort in his passion and death, believe the forgiveness of sin through him and in willing obedience to your will lead holy lives on earth until by your grace we depart from this world of sorrow and obtain eternal life; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one true God, now and forever.

Almighty and eternal God, by your Holy Spirit you have revealed to us the gospel of your Son, Christ Jesus. Awaken our hearts that we may sincerely receive your Word and not make light of it or hear it without fruit as did your people long ago.

Instead lead us to fear you and daily grow in faith in your mercy and finally through your Son Christ Jesus, obtain eternal salvation; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one true God, now and forever.

Gracious God, move us to live every day as if it were to be our last, for we do not know if it might be.

Heavenly Father, you are El Shaddai, God, Almighty. You are everpresent, yet invisible. There is no one more holy than you. You tell us to trust in you and do not doubt. Your ways are mysterious, yet your instructions are clear. You are like the wind; we cannot see your form, yet you move through our days in tangible ways. You bring us peace when we praise your name. You offer light in the darkness of our needs, and we never walk alone.

You are faithful. Jesus said to “Have faith” in you. Nothing is impossible for you. May our faith abound as we trust in your word which does not return to us void. You, God, are not a man that you would lie. Stir our remembrances of your prior faithfulness through the ages. May we never forget you are worthy of our allegiance and adoration. Amen.

Lord God,

There are those around me who continue to doubt You.

There is a darkness in their hearts that has instilled uncertainty in their faith.

Almighty Father, I lift my prayer to You.

I know my loved ones mean no harm; they have simply become lost in their path of faithfulness.

Grant me Your grace to help them find their way back to You.

I know that without Your guidance they will only remain lost. I pray for these people in my life.

May their hearts find clarity so that they may once again worship You as our one true God.
