8 They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”

Heavenly Father, I come into your courts with praise and with a grateful heart. I lift your Holy and Righteous name on high. I thank you for this new day and for the new mercies it brings.
I thank you for your blessed assurance and for your hope. My trust is in you and you alone. I thank you for your steadfast love that is like a tree planted by the water; it is firm and refreshing. In you I have no fear because you are my rock and my fortress. Your love never fails me; it is pure and unconditional. You lift me up when I'm down and heavy burdened. I hide and seek refuge under your wings of mercy.
Father, I rejoice in you. I live in you. My trust and hope is in you. Thank you for accepting me with open arms and for saving a wretch like me. I am forever grateful for your unfailing love. I thank you for who you are and I lay this prayer of gratitude and praise at your feet as offering of my love for you. In the loving name of Jesus I pray.
