THE BLESSINGS OF ADONAI - Rev. Bernadette Towers

Prayer is essential to our life. Not only is Prayer essential, it is powerful! Sometimes I underestimate how deeply God loves and how often He answers our prayers. I must testify to the greatness of God, to His faithfulness and to His amazing love.
I just want to tell everyone, everywhere, God is with us! He is always, always watching over us, answering our prayers and protecting us; keeping us safe and out of harm’s way. God knows what we need and when we need it. He is the supplier of all our needs!
Something amazing happened and I am excited to tell everyone! Every morning and evening I pray over my family and myself. I ask God to protect us, keep us safe and out of harm’s way. I pray for His angels to encamp around us, guide us, to protect our bodies, minds, spirits, souls, our walking, and talking.
I have a very old and run-down car with many issues however, the car has been dependable enough to get me back and forth to work. I am saving for a car but as of now I do not have the money I need, and I do not feel lead to take out a loan. Every time I prayed about it, I felt the Holy Spirit say wait. So, I just pray a similar prayer over my car each and every time I have to drive. This brings me to my testimony.
Last late night when I was driving home from work exhaust fumes filled my car. It was very bad and I needed to drive with my windows down. This morning my ABS light went on and I figured I needed take care of this along with the exhaust fumes, so I had the mechanic at my job take a look at my car. Let me tell you what he found when he lifted my vehicle up. First, he noticed that my muffler had detached and had a very large hole on it pipe which caused the fumes to come into my car.
Then he noticed something interesting, something that left him, his manager and the other mechanics baffled. So much so, that the manager called me over to review the undercarriage of my car. He first showed me the muffler, no biggie. He advised they could easily fix that today. Then he wanted me to see the tire on the backend driver side, on the inside of the tire. He showed me a cut, about 3 1/ 2 inches long, a half inch wide. The mechanics were astonished. The manager told me that this was extremely dangerous and they could tell that it didn’t just happened; it was there for a bit. He also said how they were all amazed and that they had never seen a tire with a cut that bad hold air. They could not understand how the tire didn’t blowout or go flat. I smile and said, “my God protected me”.
But that not all. The manager discussed the entire car with me. How I needed four new tires, breaks, the muffler, and a new transmission. Now to be honest, I knew I needed most of this work done on my car. But, I was trying my best not to put money into this old car. This is the reason I am saving money after all. But God! God worked this all out!!! The shop manager got me a great deal on my tires, he replaced the muffler pipes that were broken for free, he is giving me a great deal on my breaks, and replacing my transmission for free!!!
All I could do after leaving the garage was praise God. Praise Him for keeping me safe and out of harm’s way. I Praise the Holy Spirit for keeping me in check every time I started looking to buy a car and looking to get a loan.
I do my best to take care of my car. I make sure to get oil changes, maybe not as often as I should, but I do get them done, about two to three times a year. I always make sure I have transmission fluid and I do check the air in my tires to make sure my tires are not low. However, I would never think to check or could ever have checked the inside of my tires. I cannot replace the muffler, the breaks or the transmission. What I can do, I did. I took my car to people I trust who are expects at what they do. God knows what we need and when we need it. God knew I needed a car in good condition, that didn’t mean I needed to get loan to buy a new car. By next week by car will be out of the shop running good enough and long enough for me to save the cash needed to purchase the car I want, debt free! I wanted to buy a new car and wanted to do so, very badly. But wanting and needing are two very different things.
How amazing is our God!!! I am in awe of Him!!! I loved how He baffled the experienced mechanics. I am very grateful to Adonai for keeping me safe and for the guidance from the Holy Spirit. All I can do is praise God!
My friends, keep praying, keep trusting and keep believing God. God loves us; He listens to us and answers our prayers. . He knows what we need and when we need it. If you need something, pray. God will supply all of your needs!!!
To God Be the Glory!!!!
