“Truly, deep within my true identity, I love to do what pleases God. But I discern another power operating in my humanity, waging a war against the moral principles of my conscience and bringing me into captivity as a prisoner to the “law” of sin—this unwelcome intruder in my humanity. What an agonizing situation I am in! So who has the power to rescue this miserable man from the unwelcome intruder of sin and death? I give all my thanks to God, for his mighty power has finally provided a way out through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! So if left to myself, the flesh is aligned with the law of sin, but now my renewed mind is fixed on and submitted to God’s righteous principles.”

Heavenly Father, my Redeemer, my Prince of Peace, I worship your Holy Name. Jehovah Jireh, You are the Lord, who provides.

Father God, thank you for saving a sinner like me. Thank you for your daily hedge of protection around us. Thank you for renewing our minds so that we stay fixed on Your righteous principles. For the Bible says in Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” But you remind us daily, that we are covered by the Blood of Jesus. The enemy must ask permission before he can touch any one of your servants.

Jehovah-Roi, my Protector. You protect us like a shield and defend us. You are our strong fortress oh God! Thank you Father, because even though we live in a world that is full of sin and we fight against our flesh daily; Your loving grace pulls us through each and every time we fail.

Thank you Father, for allowing us the privilege of coming to you to deposit our faults, our flaws, our mistakes, and our wrongs. The blessing of making it as simple as just saying two words, “Forgive Me.” What a merciful God we serve!! Father, I humbly thank you. Thank you for the Blood!! The Blood that washes away our sins, it makes us whole again, the precious blood that cleanses us!

Lord, I pray that you powerfully enrich us with Your Living Word. Enable us to use all of the knowledge You provided for us as food to continue to feed our souls. Help us to search, find and to dissect all of the beautiful promises written in the Bible. Hidden treasures at our fingertips. Help us to grow spiritually and effectively with the nourishment of Your Word.

Help us Father God, to resist the enemy’s temptations and continue to allow the Holy Spirit within us to convict us of our wrong-doings. Help us to become fervent prayer warriors!

Let us be a shining example to the world of Your love and values. Let us be as the Word taken physical form, that they may read it through our actions and words.

Lord, continue to shield us from the traps of the enemy. Allow for no cracks in our armor! We thank you Father God, for all that You have done for us, for forgiving us, for loving us, for Your teachings, and for all that You will continue to do for our protection. In Jesus Holy and Mighty name we pray.
