Our Daily Prayer for Friday - Millie McFarland

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.”

John 13:34 ESV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Millie Mcfarland

Theme: "Love One Another"

Heavenly Father, I come into your throne room of grace with a heart of worship. I lift your holy name on high and I thank you for loving me even when I felt unlovable. You are faithful and so good to me.

Father, your word teaches us that we must "love one another" as you have "loved" us. I pray that we all instill this charge in our hearts and in our daily lives. Teach us to be kind and to show your "love" to all those around us. Father, give us a heart of compassion and let us demonstrate your agape "love" to all those that are hurting.

Father, I turn my eyes to you and I pray that you envelop us with your love as we continue to face the uncertain times in our nation. I pray that you send your healing virtues to all those battling this terrible Covid virus; raise them up from their bed of affliction and let them be living testimonies of your healing power. Father, let us reach out to those suffering and show them your "love."

Father, I thank you for all that you do and for who you are. I lay this prayer at your feet. In the mighty name of Jesus.

Amen

Our Daily Prayer for Friday - Millie McFarland

“Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,”

Hebrews 12:28 (ESV)

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Millie McFarland

Sovereign God, I humbly come before your throne room in total adoration to you. You are God over all and You are Holy. Father, thank you for making us joint heirs with Christ and for giving us a kingdom that can not be shaken.

Father, too often we come before you just wanting, asking and even complaining; not giving you the reverence that you so deserve. Forgive us Father; for our disregard and even disrespect. Teach us to be humble and to come to you with a heart of worship. Remind us of where you have brought us from; let us never forget the sacrifice of Jesus dying for our sins and His triumphant resurrection. For it is through Jesus that we have salvation and an advocate with You.

Father, we worship You for who you are; for You are God and you reign supreme over all. Thank you for your Love, for your provision, for taking care of us and thank you for the gift of life. Father, you have been there for us even when we don't deserve it. Your grace and mercy has brought us through so many trails and tribulations; again I thank you. Father, you have healed us from so many diseases; for you are Jehovah Rapha our Healer; again I thank you. Father, I thank you for never giving up on me and for saving me from all the darts the enemy has tried to attack me with. The word says, "no weapon formed against you shall prosper"; You have proven that, for I have seen your word in action. Thank you for your protection and for fighting my battles.

Father, I lay this prayer at your feet in reverence and adoration. I thank you Father, for who you are and I praise you. Thank you for hearing our hearts cry and our worship to you. In Jesus Mighty name we pray.

Amen
