Our Daily Prayer for Wednesday - Lashawnda Coleman

"For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned."

Romans 12:3 ESV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Lashawnda Coleman

Definition of Grace:

Grace in Christianity is the free and unmerited favour of God as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowing of blessings.

"God’s Grace"

Heavenly Father, I come before you today giving you all the honor, all the glory and all the praise. Thanking you for giving us Jesus. Thanking you for you grace and mercy. Your grace Lord God, that you give us freely; that can’t be earned and that we don’t deserve.

God You love us so much, despite our sins, yet still you pour out blessings, and you provide for us. We can never repay you, all that you ask of us is to receive Jesus your one and only begotten Son; whom you sent into this world, so through receiving Him we would be saved. Jesus who took upon all the sins of the world.

It is your grace and mercy that has brought me through. At times when I was weak, Jesus you’ve given me strength to carry on. Through my toughest battles with sickness, you healed me! A testimony to share with the world.

We must all Humble ourselves before the Lord Our God! Living a life that is Holy and pleasing to God. Loving one another, as God loves us, not putting each other down, but to uplift. Praying for one another, helping when someone is in need. We must learn to be more selfless than selfish.

Father God, I come before You praying for whom ever is reading this, that you touch their hearts. Give them the right mindset when making decisions, removing any all anxieties and fears. Praying for a turn around in their situation, praying for peace within their homes. Father God, I ask you all these things, in Jesus’ name.

Amen

And since it is through God’s kindness, then it is not by their good works. For in that case, God’s grace would not be what it really is—free and undeserved.”

"God's Grace"

Dear God,

I thank you for your grace that is free and undeserved. There is nothing that I have to do to get your grace; how awesome is that. You are kind and good to me. I truly love you.

God, continue to provide your grace to each of your children. I pray through your grace to protect, guide, and give strength to each of us as we face the crazy times we live in. I know that without you by our side we cannot do anything. I turn to you to keep us in your saving grace.

Thank you God for your love and your grace. In your name we pray.

Amen

And tell of all Your wondrous works.”

Psalms 26:7 NKJV

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Lily Tavarez

My ABBA Father, I humbly come to your throne; at your feet with thanksgiving for everything you do for us. For never leaving us and for all your grace and mercy.

Studying the Bible everyday has taught me so much, I’ve gotten closer to you. I've learned how to rely on you, not to be afraid, and to be at peace.

I ask you to make me stronger and to not to let me fall into temptations. I want to be who you want me to be; I want to be a light and gracious to others just how you are to me.

Thank you for loving us so much, that you gave your only begotten Son to die for us for our salvation. In Jesus name I pray.

Amen.

Our Daily Prayer for Monday - Christola Calloway

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3:5-6

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Christola Calloway

Father God, I come to you with total praise and adoration. You are truly the gift that keeps on giving. I thank you for being a part of my life since I was a little girl. You are truly my best friend and Father. I can't ever imagine my life without you in it. When trouble or worries come my way, you are always willing and able to help me. I am able to hand the problem over to you and find rest.

Father God, I thank you for your protection, guidance, unconditional love, provision, compassion, relationship, grace, and mercy that you give so freely to me every day.

Father, I pray that our nation will turn from its wicked way so that you will heal our land.

I pray for all the children; they've had to endure so much these past few months. God let them know that you love and care for them.

I pray that every one has food and shelter. Let the ones that can afford to help, reach out to the ones who are suffering.

Lord, I pray for salvation for all who do not know you as Savior.

Father, remove all fear that this pandemic has caused, because fear paralyzes. Bring healing to all who are sick.

Father, please continue to strengthen us until this passes.

Please guard our hearts and minds. We thank you for all that you do and are doing. We ask all things in your precious son Jesus name.

Amen

Our Daily Prayer for Thursday - Millie McFarland

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age”

Titus 2:11-12 (NIV)

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Millie McFarland

Gracious Father, I humbly come to your throne of grace in total adoration to your Holy name. I thank you for who you are and all you do. I thank you for your saving grace.

Father, teach us to say, "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions. Help us live upright and give us self-control as we strive to live godly lives. Father, I pray that this world turns back to you; and realize that you are God above all.

Lord, nothing is hidden from you. You know our hearts desires and you know our shortcomings. You know our strengths and weaknesses; for its when we are weak you are strong. Nothing is impossible for you. Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". So, today I walk in the strength you have given me and I know I can do what you have called me to do.

Father, by your grace and mercy; draw us closer to you that we may serve you in spirit and in truth. Help us be still so we may be sensitive to your voice. Let us harken to your call so we may lead people to your saving grace. Continue to let your light shine through us; so we may be witnesses of your glory. Let everyone see you through me.

Father God, thank you for hearing our prayers and our hearts cry. In the matchless name of Jesus we pray.

Amen
