It’s hard to comprehend the love of God with our small, feeble minds. It’s a love that overlooks our short comings and our failures. A love that reaches far beyond who we are at the moment and sees “Who’s” we are and who we can become. It’s a love that came to give life so we can live.

Prayer:

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we lift you up, and we exalt you. We are amazed at your love for us. We cannot fully comprehend a great love that would give up an only son so that we could live. We did not deserve it, yet you gave anyway. You gave up your son Jesus, because you loved us so much and desired a relationship with us. You allowed him to die so that we could live. You looked beyond our faults and you saw our need. And then you took the greatest step to meet that need by sending Jesus. There is no greater love than your love. We love you because you first loved us. How can we say thanks except to give you all that we are, with all of our heart, and all of our soul and all of our strength. We give thanks with a grateful heart. Amen.

Es difícil comprender el amor de Dios con nuestras mentes pequeñas y débiles. Es un amor que pasa por alto nuestros defectos y nuestros fracasos. Un amor que va mucho más allá de lo que somos en este momento y ve “quiénes” somos y en quién podemos llegar a ser. Es un amor que vino a dar vida para que podamos vivir.

Oración:

Padre, en el Nombre de Jesús, te levantamos y te exaltamos. Estamos asombrados de tu amor por nosotros. No podemos comprender plenamente un gran amor que renunciaría a un hijo único para que pudiéramos vivir. No lo merecíamos, pero de todos modos lo diste. Renunciaste a tu hijo Jesús, porque nos amabas mucho y deseabas una relación con nosotros. Le permitiste morir para que pudiéramos vivir. Miraste más allá de nuestras faltas y viste nuestra necesidad. Y luego diste el paso más grande para satisfacer esa necesidad al enviar a Jesús. No hay amor más grande que tu amor. Te amamos porque tú nos amaste primero. ¿Cómo podemos decir gracias sino darte todo lo que somos, con todo nuestro corazón, y con toda nuestra alma y todas nuestras fuerzas? Damos gracias con un corazón agradecido. Amén.

Heavenly Father,

We thank you for saving us through the sacrifice of your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, we thank you for sending the Holy Spirit to teach, guide and comfort us.

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for empowering us to be effective witnesses for Jesus. Mighty God, we have not received a spirit that makes us slaves; rather, we have received your tender, loving spirit when you adopted us as your children. We accept that the same Holy Spirit who resurrected Jesus from the dead now dwells within us. It is the Holy Spirit who gives life to our mortal bodies; just as He gave life to Christ and raised Him from the dead.

We know Holy Spirit are our comforter and our helper. You are God’s power source; you remind us of all that Jesus taught while He walked this earth. For this we depend on you, who are the teacher of all truth. We love You Holy Spirit and thank you for your working through us to show signs and perform wonders so that people will experience the Kingdom of God.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to house you within our humble selves. Help us to make music to the Lord in our hearts. Amen

Padre celestial,

Te damos gracias por salvarnos mediante el sacrificio de tu Hijo, nuestro Señor Jesucristo, te damos gracias por enviarnos al Espíritu Santo para enseñarnos, guiarnos y consolarnos.

Gracias, Espíritu Santo, por capacitarnos para ser testigos eficaces de Jesús. Dios fuerte, no hemos recibido espíritu que nos haga esclavos; más bien, hemos recibido tu espíritu tierno y amoroso cuando nos adoptaste como tus hijos. Aceptamos que el mismo Espíritu Santo que resucitó a Jesús de entre los muertos ahora habita en nosotros. Es el Espíritu Santo quien da vida a nuestros cuerpos mortales; así como dio vida a Cristo y lo resucitó de entre los muertos.

Sabemos que el Espíritu Santo es nuestro consolador y nuestro ayudador. Eres la fuente de poder de Dios; nos recuerdas todo lo que Jesús enseñó mientras caminó por esta tierra. Para ello dependemos de ti, que eres el maestro de toda verdad. Te amamos Espíritu Santo y te agradecemos por obrar a través de nosotros para mostrar señales y realizar maravillas para que las personas experimenten el Reino de Dios.

Gracias por permitirnos la oportunidad de albergarlo dentro de nuestro humilde ser. Ayúdanos a hacer música para el Señor en nuestros corazones. Amén
