Our Daily Prayer for Thursday - Millie McFarland

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
— Galatians 2:20 ESV

Theme: "Greatest Love"

Heavenly Father, I come into your throne room of grace with my heart full of worship and praise. I thank you for "loving" us so much, that you gave your one and only begotten Son to die for our sins. This is the "greatest love" known to man. Your "love" is so pure and unconditional; even though we didn't deserve it you still gave.

Father,  I thank you for my salvation and for giving me eternal life. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me and I live my life by faith in you. It is your "great love" that keeps me going. Father, it is my desire that all my family and friends experience this "great love" and be saved. Father, let me be the light that draws them closer to you.

Lord, teach us to be sensitive and compassionate to what is going on around us. Let us go out of our comfort zone and minister to those in need. Let your "love" shine through whatever we do. Let it touch the lives we come in contact with. Use us to be the vessels that will draw them to be saved.

Father, I bring this prayer into your throne room with an expectancy of souls to be won by your glory and grace. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Amen
