Our Daily Prayer for Wednesday - Rev. Maulin Vanderburgh
Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Rev. Maulin Vanderburgh
Sovereign God and Father, blessed be your Holy name. You are my hiding place and shelter in the time of storm. I honor and adore your name because of who you are. You are the Ancient of days, you are Jehovah Shalom, the God of peace, you are the Omnipotent One, the Omnipresent One, and the Omniscient One. There is none like you in all the earth. I lift my hands to you and cry Abba Father, which art in heaven, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Holy Father, I thank you for this new day that you woke me up to see. Thank you for new mercies accompanying it, great is your faithfulness, Oh Lord. Thank you for your providential care, thank you that you are Waymaker, you are Miracle worker, you are Promise keeper and you are Light in the darkness. You wrought miracles in times past and I am confident that you will do it again. Father please “do it again.” “Do it” for this country as well as globally as we stand in dire need of your mighty works.
Father, today I lift up all governmental and spiritual leaders before you, please give them the wisdom to lead your people aright especially in the midst of this pandemic. I bring the sick and afflicted, the poor and needy, the depressed and oppressed, the fearful and anxious, the grieving and lonely before you this day. I pray for their physical and spiritual healing in the precious name of Jesus. Thank you for supplying all their needs and for making a way where there seems to be no way.
Sovereign God, I cry out to you today knowing that my help comes from you. This world’s help also comes from you. Your word declares in Psalm 121:1, 2 (TPT)
I look up to the mountains and hills, longing for God’s help. But then I realize that our true help and protection come only from the Lord, our Creator who made the heavens and the earth.
Father, on behalf of everyone reading this prayer, I humbly repent before you for the many times we fail to do right, the many times we ignore your instructions and commands, the many times we fail to acknowledge that without you we cannot even take a breath. Please forgive us, Lord. For those who do not know you as Lord and Savior, please draw them to you.
Holy Father, I know that your promises are true and you promised that if I call upon you, you will hear and you will answer. Thank you for hearing, thank you in advance for the answer as I submit this prayer to you in the mighty name of your Son Jesus Christ.
Amen.
