Dear God,
I pray that by turning to You in prayer, You will teach me how to wait patiently and to listen.
Please help me to stay still and quiet so that I can hear You.
I am an altar server at our church. I get to sit right up in the sanctuary close to the readers.
I try really hard to listen to what they say because I know that it's from Jesus and about You.
I really love learning about Jesus' life on earth. There was a lot of waiting!
Poor Mary and Joseph had to wait to see where Jesus would be born.
Jesus had to wait knowing that he was going to suffer and die for us.
Easter is a wonderful celebration of the promise of waiting to rise again like Jesus did.
On the last day, You will reunite our bodies and souls, God.
I pray that in the waiting, people remember that we're all waiting to be with You in heaven.

Querido Dios,
Ruego que al acudir a Ti en oración, me enseñes a esperar pacientemente y a escuchar.
Por favor ayúdame a permanecer quieto y en silencio para poder escucharte.
Soy monaguillo en nuestra iglesia. Puedo sentarme en el santuario cerca de los lectores.
Me esfuerzo mucho en escuchar lo que dicen porque sé que es de Jesús y acerca de ti.
Realmente me encanta aprender sobre la vida de Jesús en la tierra. ¡Hubo mucha espera!
Los pobres María y José tuvieron que esperar para ver dónde nacería Jesús.
Jesús tuvo que esperar sabiendo que iba a sufrir y morir por nosotros.
La Pascua es una celebración maravillosa de la promesa de esperar a resucitar como lo hizo Jesús.
En el último día, reunirás nuestros cuerpos y nuestras almas, Dios.
Oro para que en la espera la gente recuerde que todos estamos esperando estar contigo en el cielo.
