Our Daily Prayer for Tuesday - Millie McFarland

Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
— Romans 5:3-5 ESV

Theme: "Be Encouraged, Don't Give Up"

Heavenly Father, I come into your throne room of grace with a thankful heart. I lift your Holy name on high and I give you all the praise. I thank you for always being there for me.

Father, your love never fails, it never runs out and it never gives up on me. I thank you for your relentless love that has taught me to persevere and never give up. I pray that you encourage each reader to hold on to your unchanging hand and never give up.

The word tells us we should rejoice in our suffering because it produces endurance and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. Hope does not put us to shame because of Your love, Father God. Your love covers a multitude of sins and it bears all things; so, I pray that each reader be encouraged and never give up. For You are our one and only hope. You are the only answer to each and every struggle we face.

Father, in your hands I place this prayer and I ask that you minister to each person at the point of their need. Encourage each to hold on and never give up. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Amen
