Our Daily Prayer for Friday - Millie McFarland
“For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a [a]manger.”
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
“Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill[b] toward men!”
So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.””

Glory to God in the Highest, Peace and Goodwill toward men. Thank you Father for your precious gift to us, your Son "Jesus Christ". For "Jesus" is the reason we celebrate this season and Christmas today.
I praise and thank you for who you are; You were "born this day" so that we would have: hope, joy, peace, and everlasting life. There is no greater love or greater gift than you giving us your Son "Jesus Christ". Thank you for that love Father God. I pray that we never seize to thank and praise you.
Let us rejoice in this day that the Lord has allowed us to see, for today is a day of Celebration because it is symbolic of the day "Jesus" became flesh to dwell among us. Although "Jesus" you became a hundred percent man you were also a hundred percent God. What an amazing love that you knew what you had to do for us and you still did it anyway. Thank you Lord for your sacrifice. I rejoice in you and I am truly grateful.
Father, as we gather today with our family let us remember that today is all about the lover of our soul, "Jesus Christ". It is your Birthday "Jesus" so you are our honored guest and we celebrate you. Happy Birthday "Jesus". Thank you for being "born this day", to be our "Savior".
