How I Fight My Battles
The Lord has called his people to move into the front lines of faith and be the light that those that are weak and in darkness will have a lit pathway toward Him. Along the journey we are engaged in battles with our Adversary. He is cunning and relentless and honestly, he does not fight fair. He has many resources he can access in order to thwart our efforts to be effective in the Kingdom.
We must be steadfast, just as Ezekiel was, he believed God and obeyed Him without hesitation. Note how, when his Lord spoke he was immediately attentive to His voice, if His master wished the dry bones to live he knew that God would make a way. I wish many times to hear my Lord’s voice and without hesitation believe that his power was such that he could change the outcomes of my situation with just a whisper.
We are facing a season of brokenness in our health, there are many sick and many have died, but God says, there will be beauty for ashes.. There will be testimonies and miracles and He will be glorified. It will be a season where He can manifest his Mercy and Grace and deliverance. We, his children and followers know that what we are facing is hard and at times it is scary, but we know who we are serving and we also have a responsibility to point those that may not know Him, to the cross where he sacrificed Himself to save us. We can say to the dry bones that are scattered, that our Redeemer lives and will be as he always is, ready to save us and that this same redeemer is a healer and we will be healed.
He breaths new life into my faith, into my worship and prayers because he stands in the gap and renews me. His Spirit takes me by the hand and helps me fight the battles against the enemy. I trust this God of mine.
