Our Daily Prayer for Thursday - Rev. Grace Reyes
“He said,
If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.”
“Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a loyal spirit within me.
Do not banish me from your presence,
and don’t take your Holy Spirit[a] from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation,
and make me willing to obey you.”

“Renewal”
Dear Father, I come before your throne of grace with a request from my heart, you Lord can see the state of your people on earth, you hear their groans of desperation in the darkness of this world they face. So much has changed in just a few short years, and adults and children alike are feeling the brunt of dealing with the barrage of attacks coming from all directions.
We ask you to do a work on all those who suffer from mental health problems, the heaviness of depression, and the stress that anxiety brings. We ask you to rebuke the enemy's attacks on your people, bring your healing balm from Gilead to minds suffering from mental illness and lift the oppressive spirit that surrounds so many. We need you to renew our spirits Lord, renew in us a spirit of hope and joy.
Let the holy spirit begin to soothe feelings of helplessness and hopelessness. Only you, Oh God, can bring healing to those wounded, only you can bring healing of mind and healing for our bodies.
We rebuke the enemy's plans to bring destruction to our neighborhoods by whispering into the ears of weak-minded people, instilling hatred towards their neighbors in a way that drives them to kill. Renew in us the feeling of peace.
Please guide us in how we can help those suffering in the church with mental health issues, give us the wisdom to help those in our communities suffering under the shadows of mental illness and disease. You are the God who heals, you are the God who helps heal our diseases, we thank you, oh Lord, and we look forward to your help and direction.
Thank you, Father God, for all that you are doing in the places that we still cannot see clearly. You are a strong and powerful God, and we look to you for our help. Amen

"Renovación"
Amado Padre, vengo ante tu trono de gracia con una petición de mi corazón, tú Señor puedes ver el estado de tu pueblo en la tierra, escuchas sus gemidos de desesperación en la oscuridad de este mundo que enfrentan. Mucho ha cambiado en tan solo unos pocos años, y tanto los adultos como los niños están sintiendo la peor parte de lidiar con el aluvión de ataques provenientes de todas las direcciones.
Les pedimos que hagan un trabajo sobre todos aquellos que sufren de problemas de salud mental, la pesadez de la depresión y el estrés que trae consigo la ansiedad. Te pedimos que reprendas los ataques del enemigo contra tu pueblo, lleves tu bálsamo sanador de Galaad a las mentes que padecen enfermedades mentales y levantes el espíritu opresivo que rodea a tantos. Necesitamos que renueves nuestros espíritus Señor, renueva en nosotros un espíritu de esperanza y alegría.
Deje que el espíritu santo comience a calmar los sentimientos de impotencia y desesperanza. Solo tú, oh Dios, puedes traer sanidad a los heridos, solo tú puedes traer sanidad a la mente y sanidad a nuestros cuerpos.
Reprendemos los planes del enemigo de traer destrucción a nuestros vecindarios susurrando en los oídos de las personas de mente débil, inculcando el odio hacia sus vecinos de una manera que los impulsa a matar. Renueva en nosotros el sentimiento de paz.
Por favor, guíanos sobre cómo podemos ayudar a aquellos que sufren en la iglesia con problemas de salud mental, danos la sabiduría para ayudar a aquellos en nuestras comunidades que sufren bajo las sombras de la enfermedad mental y la enfermedad. Tú eres el Dios que sana, eres el Dios que ayuda a sanar nuestras enfermedades, te damos gracias, oh Señor, y esperamos tu ayuda y dirección.
Gracias, Dios Padre, por todo lo que estás haciendo en los lugares que todavía no podemos ver con claridad. Eres un Dios fuerte y poderoso, y esperamos en ti nuestra ayuda. Amén
