Father God,
I come before your holy presence contrite and humbled by your power and grace. I stand in awe of your mercy, we are in desperate need of your wisdom and discipline. We watch the horrors of war before our eyes and we can not look away. We experience the senseless killing of innocence and are without words to properly cry out on behalf of the families that have lost loved ones.
Where do we find obedience to your teachings in this chaos we face. Why do we not follow the simplest of your commands, which is to love our neighbor as ourselves. If we would follow just this one there would be peace on earth right now.
Lord I stand in the gap today for the person reading this humble prayer. Please Lord pour your holy spirit upon our land, instill in all of us the desire to love each other. The desire to obey all that you ask us to do for you. Touch hearts so that they want to please you and follow you without question or self interest.
Change me Lord so that I can begin to seek you first, pray more fervently and be willing to be a vessel you can use for good. Thank you Lord for listening to our petitions and acting on them according to your will. Amen

Tema: Obediencia
Dios padre,
Vengo ante tu santa presencia contrito y humillado por tu poder y gracia. Estoy asombrado por tu misericordia, necesitamos desesperadamente tu sabiduría y disciplina. Vemos los horrores de la guerra ante nuestros ojos y no podemos apartar la mirada. Experimentamos el asesinato sin sentido de la inocencia y nos quedamos sin palabras para clamar adecuadamente en nombre de las familias que han perdido a sus seres queridos.
¿Dónde encontramos obediencia a tus enseñanzas en este caos que enfrentamos? ¿Por qué no seguimos el más simple de tus mandamientos, que es amar a nuestro prójimo como a nosotros mismos? Si siguiéramos sólo este, habría paz en la tierra ahora mismo.
Señor, hoy estoy en la brecha por la persona que lee esta humilde oración. Por favor Señor derrama tu espíritu santo sobre nuestra tierra, infunde en todos nosotros el deseo de amarnos unos a otros. El deseo de obedecer todo lo que nos pides que hagamos por ti. Toca los corazones para que quieran complacerte y seguirte sin cuestionamientos ni intereses propios.
Cámbiame Señor para que pueda comenzar a buscarte primero, orar con más fervor y estar dispuesto a ser un vaso que puedas usar para el bien. Gracias Señor por escuchar nuestras peticiones y actuar en ellas según tu voluntad. Amén
