Commentary:

Heavenly bodies, stars and planets, just don't move across the heavens; there course is usually predetermined unless acted upon by another force. In order for this star to be over Bethlehem, it would have had to have begun its course at the foundation of the world. God had a plan for our salvation Before we realize we needed one. Amen.

Prayer:

Dear Jesus, thank you for your plan, we understand that you are "The Light of the World". We thank you, that the lamb of God was slain from the foundation of the world.

We give you praise, because of Jesus, we are no longer bound. We have been set free. Thank you Lord, for your many blessings. Help us during this time to be bold with the message of Jesus, that in him there is no darkness at all. Help us to be a living witness for all that God has done for us. Help us not to be shy, but bold for you.

In Jesus mighty name we pray.

Lord, today our prayer is to be as one in perfect harmony as you are in perfect harmony with the Father. With all that has been going on from pandemic to political differences it is easy for our focus and perspectives to become easily blinded by other voices and what we see from media output.

So, today we rise and stand together. We rise above personal opinions and agendas. Regardless, of where we may stand during elections above all we are called to stand together in love. Because the word teaches us that our battle is not against flesh and blood but a battle against; rulers, principalities, spiritual forces in the heavenly realms.

We rise above hatred. We rise above racism. We rise above Covid and stand on the promises of your word that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Lord, I pray that our eyes be opened to see the need to truly love the lost and be a light for them as they draw near to you and your love.

Lord, may we be united by love and stand in perfect harmony as your word declares. I also ask that our eyes be opened to see the power that is in your love. How by your divine love binds all things together and keeps us in perfect harmony. This oh Lord, is your original plan, that we would remain in your love and be in perfect harmony with you.

Today, we take the step to stand in your love and experience what perfect harmony in you is truly like.
