Our Daily Prayer for Wednesday - Erika Gonzalez

Anhelamos hacer tu voluntad, queremos agradarte a Ti y solo a Ti.

Salmos 51:1-12

¡Bendiciones!

“casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience, when your obedience is perfect.”

2 Corinthians 10:5-6 KJV

Scripture and Prayer submitted by: Erika González

Lord, Thank you for your patience with us. We do not justify ourselves but we ask you to help us in growth and maturity. We recognize that in order to be obedient we need to be mature and full of your spirit and your truth. Your word is a lamp for our path, Your word teaches us the truth by which you want us to walk, but our nature is opposed to it. This is why we pray this verse 2 Corinthians 10:5-6, casting down every haughtiness that rises up against the knowledge of God. (Your word)

Help us to overcome, You gave us the victory, help us to overcome our own concupiscence, our human nature and bring it to you, in the moments it arises. We long to do your will, we want to please You and only You.

In you we are more than conquerors. Glorify yourself as only You know how to do and manifest Your Glory. Thank you for your mercy and that your power is made perfect in our weaknesses.

“Have mercy on me, O God, according to your mercy; According to the multitude of your mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me more and more from my wickedness, And cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me. Against you, against you alone, I have sinned, And I have done evil in your sight; So that you may be recognized as righteous in your word, and considered pure in your judgment. Behold, I was formed in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, you love the truth inwardly, And in secret you have made me understand wisdom. Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean; Wash me and I'll be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, And the bones that you have crushed will be recreated. Hide your face from my sins, And erase all my evils.

Create in me, O God, a clean heart, And renew a right spirit within me. Do not cast me out from before you, And do not take your holy Spirit from me. Return to me the joy of your salvation, And a noble spirit sustain me.”

Psalms 51:1-12

Our Daily Prayer for Sunday - Millie McFarland

“Lift up your heads, O gates!
And be lifted up, O ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
8 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord, strong and mighty,
the Lord, mighty in battle!
9 Lift up your heads, O gates!
And lift them up, O ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
10 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory!”

Psalms 24:7-10 ESV

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Millie McFarland

Eternal and Righteous Father, I come into your presence singing and into your courts with praise. I thank you for all that you do and for who you are. Father, you are my glory and the lifter of my head.

Lord, I thank you for always reminding me that I am not alone and that you are always with me. I praise you and I extol your holy name; for your are the lifter of my head and the King of Glory. You are strong and mighty in battle; I do not fear, for you fight all of my battles.

Father, I pray that you reveal yourself to your people and remind them that you are Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. There is none like you. I pray that each put their faith and trust in you. Remind them that you are with them and that you are the Lord of Hosts that protects and fight their battles. No longer do we have to be a slave to fear, for we are your children; your chosen people.

Father, I thank you for being my mighty warrior and my protector. You are my shield and defense; so, I fear no evil. I praise and thank you for hearing my prayer. I lay this prayer at your feet as I worship and adore your holy name. I pray in the matchless name of your Son Jesus Christ.

Amen
