“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. 2 Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.

3 By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.

4 It was by faith that Abel brought a more acceptable offering to God than Cain did. Abel’s offering gave evidence that he was a righteous man, and God showed his approval of his gifts. Although Abel is long dead, he still speaks to us by his example of faith.

5 It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying—“he disappeared, because God took him.”[a] For before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God. 6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”

Lord almighty, there are those around me who continue to doubt You. There is a darkness in their hearts that has instilled uncertainty in their faith. Gracious Father, I lift this prayer to you. I know my loved ones mean no harm; they have simply become lost in their path of faithfulness. Grant me Your grace to help them find their way back to You. I know that they will only remain lost without Your guidance, and so I pray for these people in my life. May their hearts find clarity so that they may once again worship You as our one true God. In Your name, I pray. Amen.

“La fe muestra la realidad de lo que esperamos; es la evidencia de cosas que no podemos ver. 2 Por su fe, los pueblos de la antigüedad se ganaron una buena reputación.

3 Por la fe entendemos que todo el universo fue formado por mandato de Dios, que lo que ahora vemos no provino de nada que se pueda ver.

4 Fue por la fe que Abel presentó a Dios una ofrenda más aceptable que la que presentó Caín. La ofrenda de Abel dio evidencia de que era un hombre justo, y Dios mostró su aprobación por sus regalos. Aunque Abel murió hace mucho tiempo, todavía nos habla con su ejemplo de fe.

Quien quiera acercarse a él debe creer que Dios existe y que recompensa a quienes lo buscan sinceramente”.

Señor todopoderoso, hay quienes a mi alrededor siguen dudando de Ti. Hay una oscuridad en sus corazones que ha infundido incertidumbre en su fe. Padre misericordioso, te elevo esta oración. Sé que mis seres queridos no quieren hacer daño; simplemente se han perdido en su camino de fidelidad. Concédeme Tu gracia para ayudarlos a encontrar el camino de regreso a Ti. Sé que solo permanecerán perdidos sin Tu guía, y por eso oro por estas personas en mi vida. Que sus corazones encuentren claridad para que una vez más puedan adorarte como nuestro único Dios verdadero. En tu nombre, oro. Amén.
