“The LORD is my strength and my shield;

in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;

my heart exults,

and with my song I give thanks to him.”

Scripture and prayer submitted by Rev. Grace Reyes

Heavenly Father,

I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude, I am nothing without you. My soul cries out to you. The psalmist cried, “where can I go from your presence” that is I today. Moses said, “I will not go where you are not”, my heart says the same.

I come with a heavy heart to plead on behalf of my people Lord. The world is on fire with so many terrible things that seem to be taking place all at once. I am asking for mercy Lord. You see all things, the good and the bad and we are a desperate people who see the end of days approaching and need, more than ever your guidance.

Children groan from the depths of bondage and abuse; hunger fills their days and nights. You are a just God and I ask that you judge the wicked and expose their terrible deeds. Please send angels on the earth to protect and rescue the children and return them to hope and joy.

I have seen your loving hands upon the hurting, witnessed miracles and wonders. I am confident Lord your ways and perfect and you will soon change those things that need to be changed, you will bring deliverance to those who are hurting and lost. But I am sure of one thing, there is nothing too hard for you, so I stand today in the gap for the sick and the mentally struggling individual, anyone who has sought out this page looking for solace and a word from you. I pray for every mother and father that has cried out to you today on behalf of their families.

Thank you for hearing my prayers, bless the person who is reading this today and touch them in a special way amen.

“Jehová es mi fortaleza y mi escudo;

en él confía mi corazón, y soy ayudado;

mi corazón se regocija,

y con mi canto le doy gracias”.

Salmos 28:7 NVI

Escritura y oración presentada por la Rev. Grace Reyes

Padre celestial,

Our Daily Prayer for Monday - Millie McFarland and Margarita Rodriguez

Y espíritu noble me sustente.

Entonces enseñaré a los transgresores tus caminos,
Y los pecadores se convertirán a ti.”

Salmos 51:10-13

“Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners shall be converted to You.”

Psalms 51:10-13

Eternal Father, we give you all the glory, honor and praise. We come together into your throne room of grace; touching and agreeing that you alone are God. There is no other above you. We enter into your presence to pray for a hurting nation.

Father, as we enter into your court, to lift up this nation; we ask that you cleanse us and create in us a clean heart. Father God, renew a right spirit in us and please do not cast us out of your presence. Father, forgive us if we have offended you in anyway.

Father, it's with a heavy heart that we lift up this nation to you. There are so many hurting, so many sick and so many lost. Turn this nation back to you. Father, restore the hurting, heal the sick and save all that are lost. This nation needs you to be the center and the driving force that runs it. Man can't do it in his own strength; he has to be lead by your Holy Spirit.

Father, we pray that the President, the Senators, Congress and all the Mayors turn their hearts to you; give them spiritual wisdom to run this nation. Let the words, "In God We Trust", really mean what it says. Our nation was founded on you so we pray it turns back to you.

Father, we pray that you restore joy, hope and peace among your people. Father, remind each that their salvation is in your Son Jesus Christ; it is through Him that we have eternal life. Father, we thank you for that precious gift; that you have freely given. So, we pray that all may turn to you.

Father God, we thank you for who you are and for all you do. We praise your Holy name and we exalt you above all. We thank you for hearing our prayer and we thank you for answering it. It is in your Son Jesus Christ we pray.

Amen
