Our Daily Prayer for Wednesday - Melinda Ham

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
— John 3:16-17 KJV

Theme: "His Love"

As we are at the end of 2020, we can all look back and reflect on what a crazy year this has been but, in the midst of it all it was “His love”, the "love" of Jesus that has kept us.

When we reflect on what COVID-19 has done to families, businesses, churches, etc... we can only see his goodness, "love", protection, provision, grace, and mercy carrying us day by day. Some can say, wow so many people have lost a loved one or a job, but we can always find something good that has happened in our lives. We can find something to rejoice about, because joy always comes in the morning and it is only because of “His Love”.

When God the Father, sent His Son Jesus to die for us He knew that it would cover everything that was and is to come.  If we can accept the gift of salvation; that He has given us we will know that it is only by "His love" that we will have everlasting life, and strength to overcome anything we are and may go through.

“His Love”, has allowed me to be more grateful of what He is doing that can be seen and unseen; because He is my personal covering and I pray He is yours too.  Jesus is the only HOPE in these times, and He came to set you free.  "His love" is everlasting, never-ending or changing, because HE never changes, there is nothing you can do to win "His love" or lose "His love", He simply "loves" you.

I pray that as we go into 2021 it will be “His Love” that pours out joy, peace, and protection in your life.  Do not look back, just forward as He is waiting for you to extend “His Love”.

God bless you today, tomorrow, and always.

In Jesus name.

Amen
