Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of myself and your body. Lord, I pray that we would have "love one for another." I thank you, because you "loved" us first; it is from that place of "love" we can draw and then extend that same "love" to all. You demonstrated your sacrificial "love" by sending your Son Jesus to die on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, so we can have fellowship with you again.
Thank you Lord, for your unfailing "love!" Lord, I thank you that we know you and you are "love."Teach us how we can practically show You to our neighbor as You are, so are we in this world.
"Love" is patient, so we are patient. "Love" is kind, so we are kind. "Love" keeps no record of wrongs, we keep no record of wrongs. "Love" does not boast, we do not boast. "Love" celebrates others accomplishments, we celebrate our brothers accomplishments.
Now, Lord heal us of our pride that allows division. Heal us of our offenses that keeps us from each other and harbors un-forgiveness. We let it go from our souls and we humbly ask you to forgive us for not "loving" rightly. Teach us how to "love one another" and make us one! We "love" you Jesus and thank you for healing our hearts.
