As I was scrolling, for help for a prayer, I read this prayer and felt the love and devotion of these words as the person prayed.
“I Prayed For This Lord, give me open ears, a quiet mind, a receptive heart and a willingness to obey. I commit before You my desire to acquire a “lifelong habit of spiritual response.” Amen.
Father God, Thou art the only true God and Thou art the only God men have ever been taught about, Who condescends to love His people as a father.
Help us, O God, to be obedient children, but help us also to cast out of our hearts and minds all things that might hinder us in a whole and holy love for Thee.
As Thou didst love the world, help us to love. As Thou didst give Thyself for us, help us to give ourselves for Thee.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.

Mientras buscaba ayuda para una oración, leí esta oración y sentí el amor y la devoción de estas palabras mientras la persona oraba.
“Oré por esto Señor, dame oídos abiertos, una mente tranquila, un corazón receptivo y disposición para obedecer. Encomiendo ante Ti mi deseo de adquirir un “hábito de respuesta espiritual para toda la vida”. Amén.
Padre Dios, Tú eres el único Dios verdadero y Tú eres el único Dios del que jamás se ha enseñado a los hombres, Quien condesciende a amar a Su pueblo como a un padre.
Ayúdanos, oh Dios, a ser hijos obedientes, pero ayúdanos también a expulsar de nuestro corazón y de nuestra mente todo lo que pueda obstaculizarnos en un amor total y santo por Ti.
Como Tú amaste al mundo, ayúdanos a amar. Así como Tú te entregaste por nosotros, ayúdanos a entregarnos por Ti.
