Tired of being disappointed time and time again? Do you have high expectations and they get disintegrated before you can even try to work them out? Are you ready for things to change? I say yes, I'm so ready. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Today, I will tell you what the Lord dropped in my spirit. He told me to stop trying to do things in my strength; He said turn to him, because in Him we have hope. Hope never leads to disappointment. When you're hopeful, you are anticipating good things, not bad.
You need to realize; that even if the "good things" you're waiting on don't happen right away, the joy and hope that God gives, fill you up until they do happen. It is not a temporary "feel good" as it is an eternal one. So you can wave good-bye to disappointment and embrace the Hope and Joy you now have in Jesus. The word says, "Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation." Habakkuk 3:18 KJV
God's ways are not our ways. We want things when we want them, but God's plans are purposeful and we must wait on Him. Perhaps you've been waiting on pins and needles for something to happen, such as: a promotion, a raise, a better car, a new home, etc... Just an amazing opportunity or something wonderful to happen, but instead you get bad news. Things don't always work out the way we plan them, but take heart and rejoice in the Lord; for He always has a greater plan for us. "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say rejoice!"

The Lord turns our sorrows into joy. Even in the hardest of times, it's possible to have a glad heart. The body reacts to the spirit, so if you want to keep on keeping on, you better do a heart check!! Make sure that He abides in your heart; that He is your personal Savior and He is the keeper of your soul. So when you turn to Him with your hearts desire, He is their to listen and in His timing He will answer.
Today I encourage you to bring your petitions to the Lord and declare, "Disappointment... Be gone in Jesus name, for in Him i have Hope and Joy." Prophesy over your life and walk in His everlasting Hope and Joy!! Watch the hand of God move in your life and you will never be the same.
