As these days of uncertainty and chaos emerge so does the anxiety levels of many people. Many of us go through stress and anxiety, but a lot of us run to the wrong people or go looking for quick fixes that get us deeper into the pit we are already in.

Have you ever thought of asking God to give you an "anxiety check"? Have you tried to give it to the one that can actually help you? He longs for you to live in peace and be anxious for nothing, but that won't happen as long as you let worries and fears be your driven force. You need to redirect your thoughts and look to God.

Today, you need to allow Him to search your heart and ask Him to dig deep. I say dig deep because we tend to hide things deep down under layers of what we think are layers of protection; but in actuality this just intensifies your anxieties. These are things that need to be revealed if you want healing to take place. God wants to heal your heart. All you have to do is yield it to Him and ask.

The word says, "Be anxious for nothing". Is that possible? You might say, aren't my anxieties tied to my emotions? My emotions are tied to the things that are happening around me. Am I not human? I say, yes is the answer to your questions,  statements, yes you are human, and even the question asking, is it possible?

Yes it is possible; as the word says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by PRAYER and supplication". That means when things get chaotic or you get overwhelmed, get on your knees and PRAY. Ask God to wash away all of your fears and anxieties, and ask Him to replace it with His exceeding great joy. The word says in Nehemiah 8:10 KJV, "The Joy of the Lord is your strength", His joy will give you the strength you need to make it through. Pray, and ask Him to replace your anxiety with His peace that surpasses all understanding. As you continue to cast your cares and burdens on Him; He will give you rest.

Our Heavenly Father desires to give you a Joy that the world can't take away. So instead of trying to seek joy in worldly pleasures; seek Him and His righteousness and He will fill you with His joy. Psalms 16:11 (NIV) says, "You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand". Thank God for His blessed assurance. This assurance gives us hope towards a future in Him.

Again, be anxious for nothing; give it to God and let Him give you the peace you so desperately seek. Let Him transform your chaotic life into a joyous one in Him.
