A FATHER'S LOVE

"See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him."

1 John 3:1 NLT

Father God, we come before you with humble hearts, grateful for your unfailing, unconditional love that knows no bounds. We cherish your love, a father’s love to His adoptive children full of strength and care. Even when we stumble, your love never wavers. Help us love freely, care deeply, forgive easily, and offer kindness, just as a father does for his children.

We also thank you for the earthly fathers, who reflect your divine fatherhood in their love for their children. We pray for fathers (biological fathers, adoptive fathers, father figures) around the world. May you give them your wisdom (as they navigate through the twists and turns life brings) and make decisions that honor and bless their families. May you give them health and strength as you protect them physically, mentally, and emotionally. May they reflect your unconditional love and patience. May you teach them to raise their children in your ways, to be kind, compassionate, and loving.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.

L AMOR DE UN PADRE

Padre Dios, venimos ante ti con corazones humildes, agradecidos por tu amor inagotable e incondicional que no conoce límites. Apreciamos tu amor, el amor de un padre hacia sus hijos adoptivos, lleno de fuerza y cuidado. Incluso cuando tropezamos, tu amor nunca flaquea. Ayúdanos a amar libremente, preocuparnos profundamente, perdonar fácilmente y ofrecer bondad, tal como lo hace un padre con sus hijos.

También te damos gracias por los padres terrenales, que reflejan tu paternidad divina en el amor por sus hijos. Oramos por los padres (padres biológicos, padres adoptivos, figuras paternas) de todo el mundo. Que les des tu sabiduría (mientras navegan a través de los giros y vueltas que trae la vida) y tomen decisiones que honren y bendigan a sus familias. Que les des salud y fuerza mientras los proteges física, mental y emocionalmente. Que reflejen tu amor incondicional y tu paciencia. A Father’s Love

Luke 15:20 ESV

“And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.”

The love of our Heavenly Father is greater than any other love in this world. Though at times we may stray, he is always watching for us. And when we turn back towards home, we will find that our Heavenly Father has been watching and patiently waiting for us. Every day he has scanned the horizon longing to see us heading back home.

No matter what we may have done, he rejoices at our return and comes running to where we are and embraces us.

You may feel far from him today for whatever reason, but if you will make the decision to turn back home, even right now you will find your Heavenly Father waiting to embrace you with open arms. His love is greater than anything you may have done.

Prayer:

Father, I thank you that your great love that goes beyond my failures. It is deeper than the ocean and higher than the mountains. Whenever I have strayed or drifted from your presence, you have never abandoned me. Each day you watched and longed for my return. And even though I was still a distance away, you came running to me and wrapped me in your arms of love. Thank you for your amazing love.

“Y él se levantó y vino a su padre. Pero cuando todavía estaba lejos, su padre lo vio y tuvo compasión, y corrió, lo abrazó y lo besó”.

El amor de nuestro Padre Celestial es mayor que cualquier otro amor en este mundo. Aunque a veces nos desviemos, él siempre está velando por nosotros. Y cuando regresemos a casa, encontraremos que nuestro Padre Celestial ha estado observando y esperándonos pacientemente. Todos los días ha oteado el horizonte anhelando vernos regresar a casa.

No importa lo que hayamos hecho, él se alegra de nuestro regreso y viene corriendo hacia donde estamos y nos abraza.

Puede que hoy te sientas lejos de Él por cualquier motivo, pero si tomas la decisión de regresar a casa, incluso ahora encontrarás a tu Padre Celestial esperándote para abrazarte con los brazos abiertos. Su amor es más grande que cualquier cosa que hayas hecho.

Oración:

Padre, te doy gracias porque tu gran amor va más allá de mis fracasos. Es más profundo que el océano y más alto que las montañas. As I read these powerful words from Proverbs, I am grateful to the Lord for the wisdom my dear mother has bestowed on me. Each day of my life, my mother has guided me with her loving advice and counsel. What a blessing Abba, that I can still hear my mom’s voice reminding me to leave things in God’s hands. In my younger days, those words did not resonate like they do today. I was taught to kneel, pray and show respect to God. What I didn’t realize, Lord, was what my mother was teaching me each day. Every decision and counsel she made was with God’s word and graces. My mother would praise God for all our joys and cry with the Lord with all her sorrows. Even in her darkest days, my mother would pray fervently to the Lord. I was baffled at times with her commitment but respected her love for our heavenly father.

Now, as a mother myself, thanks to you Lord, I appreciate her “faithful instruction”. In her way, she began my relationship with you Father. Your presence in our home was always felt and honored. Her love for you has never waned. Lord her faithfulness is a blessing to our family. My mother is our guiding light in our lives. Jesus, I thank you daily for each moment that I still can love and cherish my mother. My mother is truly a Proverbs 31 woman. She blesses her children daily and is loving and dutiful. Her support and wisdom comes from you, Lord. Father, please wrap your arms around your daughter, my mother, as she faces each new day. My mother has always and will continue to trust in you Lord. In Jesus’s name, we believe and pray.

Al leer estas poderosas palabras de Proverbios, agradezco al Señor por la sabiduría que mi querida madre me ha otorgado. Cada día de mi vida, mi madre me ha guiado con sus amorosos consejos y sugerencias. Qué bendición Abba, que todavía puedo escuchar la voz de mi mamá recordándome que deje las cosas en manos de Dios. En mi juventud, esas palabras no resonaban como lo hacen hoy. Me enseñaron a arrodillarme, orar y mostrar respeto a Dios. De lo que no me di cuenta, Señor, era de lo que mi madre me enseñaba cada día. Cada decisión y consejo que tomó fue con la palabra y las gracias de Dios. Mi madre alababa a Dios por todas nuestras alegrías y lloraba con el Señor con todas sus tristezas. Incluso en sus días más oscuros, mi madre oraba fervientemente al Señor. A veces me desconcertaba su compromiso, pero respetaba su amor por nuestro padre celestial.

Ahora, como madre, gracias a ti Señor, aprecio su “fiel instrucción”. A su manera, ella inició mi relación contigo Padre. Su presencia en nuestro hogar siempre fue sentida y honrada. Su amor por ti nunca ha disminuido. Señor su fidelidad es de bendición para nuestra familia. Mi madre es nuestra luz guía en nuestras vidas. Jesús, te agradezco diariamente por cada momento en el que todavía puedo amar y apreciar a mi madre. Mi madre es verdaderamente una mujer de Proverbios 31. Bendice a sus hijos a diario y es cariñosa y diligente. Su apoyo y sabiduría provienen de ti, Señor. Padre, por favor abraza a tu hija, mi madre, mientras enfrenta cada nuevo día. Father, I thank you for every woman of strength and influence that you have lifted up for these times and whom have been a great blessing to all who they have encounter .

They have recognized the purpose for which you have called them.

They have said here I am Lord use me.

I pray blessing upon blessing over them.

Guide, lead them and give them daily strength and wisdom so that they may continue on the path of making a difference.

May they have resilience through every challenge they may face on their journey to impact others, and lead them to you .

Thank you for allowing them to be the influencers that they are and to see the difference that with your help they have made and continue to make in the lives of those who are so desperately in need of you.

Bless them in every way!

Father , you have called us all out to be the light of the world so I pray that you help us all to shine your light everywhere we go.

please grant me, I pray, the precious gift of patience.

Help me, Father, to trust that Your timing is always perfect,

even if it doesn't align with the desires of my heart.

In the moments of longing and anticipation, may I find

solace in the knowledge that Your timing is always perfect,

unfolding as it should.

Thank You for gifting me with the virtue of patience,

a true testament to Your wisdom.
