Our Daily Prayer for Saturday - Millie McFarland

Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
— Isaiah 40:28-31 NIV

Theme: "Everlasting God"

Eternal Father and "Everlasting God", I come into your presence with a heart full of praise. Thanking you for never leaving or forsaking me. I thank you for giving me strength when I get weary.

Father, your mercies are from "Everlasting" to "Everlasting" they have no end; you God have no end. Father, one of your names is "Everlasting God & Everlasting Father" because you have no end. You were, You are and You'll be forever the King enthroned in Glorious splendor. I have this blessed assurance that you will always be.

Father, I pray that your people seek you when they start feeling weary. I pray they recognize that their strength comes from you, our "Everlasting God". I pray they find their hope in you recognizing that the word says, "but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." (Isaiah 40:31 NIV)

In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Amen
