Dear Father in Heaven,

Open our hearts to see what is good in our lives.

May the light in our hearts shine clearly so that we see,

recognize and live in accordance with what comes from eternity

and belongs to our true nature, brought to us through Christ.

Keep us from being blinded and defeated by experiences that will pass by.

Help us to rise above them even in suffering

and to wait patiently for what is becoming new and perfect.

Praise to Your Name that we too can say,

"The old has passed away; behold, the new has come!"

2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV

Querido Padre Celestial,

Abre nuestros corazones para ver lo que es bueno en nuestras vidas.

Que la luz en nuestros corazones brille con claridad para que veamos,

reconozcamos y vivamos de acuerdo con lo que viene de la eternidad

y pertenece a nuestra verdadera naturaleza, traída a nosotros por medio de Cristo.

No nos dejes cegar ni derrotar por experiencias que pasarán.

Ayúdanos a superarlas incluso en el sufrimiento

y a esperar con paciencia lo que se está volviendo nuevo y perfecto.

Alabado sea Tu Nombre porque también nosotros podemos decir:

"¡Lo viejo pasó; he aquí lo nuevo ha llegado!"
