Heavenly Father, I come before your throne of grace rejoicing and praising your Holy name. I thank you for sending your only begotten Son to this world to be the ultimate gift of love and sacrifice. Through Him we have salvation and eternal life.
Lord, I thank you for being our "Wonderful Counselor, our Mighty God, our Everlasting Father, our Prince of Peace, and our "Immanuel" God with us." (Isaiah 9:6) What a blessed assurance and comfort to know "Immanuel" is with us all the time for the word says you never leave or forsake us.
Father, I pray that when your people start feeling alone, downtrodden, and discouraged that they remember "Immanuel" is with them. I pray that you envelop them with your love and remind them that no matter how bad it may look or how dark the night; Joy comes in the morning with brand new mercies. I know the days we are facing seem so unsure but I am encouraged in knowing that "Immanuel" is with me and You are in control.
Thank you merciful Savior for your grace, hope and peace. I will be careful not to let this holiday season go by and not acknowledge the true reason which is you Christ Jesus. Thank you!! In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.
