Our Daily Prayer for Thursday - Millie McFarland

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”

John 14:27 ESV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Millie McFarland

Eternal Father, I thank you for the peace you have given me. You are the great I Am and the Prince of Peace. I give you all the honor and praise.

Father, I pray that you give each person reading this peace of mind and calm anyone's heart that may be troubled. Restore their soul and give each person balance in you. Give each person strength and clarity of mind to be able to see past what it may look like; show them the answer is in you. The bible tells us that you give us peace and we don't have to be afraid. So, I pray each place their trust in you. I rebuke anxiety and fear; I speak hope and peace.

Father, I thank you for your perfect peace. I praise you for who you are and I exalt your holy name. My hope, my trust and my peace is in you; the world didn't give it and the world can't take it away. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Amen

Our Daily Prayer for Tuesday - Bernardo Cruz

I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches.”

2 Corinthians 11:27-28 NIV

Scripture & Prayer Submitted by: Bernardo Cruz

Thank you Heavenly Father, for loving me and supplying all of my needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. Thank you for all of life experiences; all the ups and downs that came with those experiences. Because it's in those hard and dark times where I can say like Paul, "His grace is sufficient for me, for his power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Thank you for seeing me through some of the tough times in my life; like the poverty I experienced growing up as a kid. Thank you for being my Heavenly Father, when I didn't have a earthly Father figure in my life. Thank you for being with me through the loss of a loved one and for guiding me through the hard times of rising a child on my own. I'm so grateful to know a God who will never leave nor forsake us, and who loves and cares for us.

Thank you for your marvelous work in my life. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11) Thank you for opening up my eyes to your word, and allowing me to understand that you are in control. Everything happens for a reason, it is to draw us closer to You. For you said, "In this world we will have trouble, But take heart You have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

Thank you because of you we move and breathe and have our being. Like Paul, "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:18) For the suffering of this world will produce perseverance, character, and hope; hope does not disappoint..

I know that God will supply all our needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. All I have is because of You and all I am is because of You. Thank you for the many blessing's in my life today; because of what I been through, I can worship you with a grateful heart. I thank you Lord for this life and for the life to come in Jesus name.

AMEN
