Heavenly Father, Lord I am grateful and in awe of your glorious and marvelous ways. I am thankful at how you provide for us and comfort us and love us. But Lord today I want to glorify you for providing us with earthly father figures in the way of step-fathers.
Step-fathers come into our lives and fill in for absent fathers just as you gifted them to do Lord. They love our children unconditionally just as You love us. They guide our children on their path just as You do for us. So, Lord we thank you for a Godly example.
If there is a strenuous child/step-father relationship will you fix it in the name of Jesus. Lord, in the difficult times will you grant step-fathers the peace that surpasses all understanding. Will you lead them on the path of righteousness so they may continue to lead our children. Will you keep them encouraged when the world overlooks their role in a child’s life.
Lord, I thank you for step-fathers and I give you all the praise, honor and glory. In Jesus name, Amen.

Padre Celestial, Señor, estoy agradecido y asombrado por tus caminos gloriosos y maravillosos. Estoy agradecido por cómo nos provees, nos consuelas y nos amas. Pero Señor, hoy quiero glorificarte por proporcionarnos figuras paternas terrenales en el camino de los padrastros.
Los padrastros vienen a nuestras vidas y reemplazan a los padres ausentes tal como Tú les diste el don de hacer Señor. Ellos aman a nuestros hijos incondicionalmente como Tú nos amas. Ellos guían a nuestros hijos en su camino tal como Tú lo haces por nosotros. Entonces, Señor, te agradecemos por un ejemplo piadoso.
Si hay una relación agotadora entre hijo y padrastro, ¿la arreglará en el nombre de Jesús? Señor, en los momentos difíciles concederás a los padrastros la paz que sobrepasa todo entendimiento. ¿Los guiarás por el camino de la justicia para que puedan seguir guiando a nuestros hijos? ¿Los mantendrá animados cuando el mundo pase por alto su papel en la vida de un niño?
Señor, te doy gracias por los padrastros y te doy toda la alabanza, el honor y la gloria. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
