She stood in front of the Jordan River this fall and prayed for “New Beginnings”

Jesus, another new day begins. I wish I could give myself to you again by coming to the waters of the Jordan River. You came to this water as you prepared for your ministry. Your Father announced that you are His Beloved Son.

I have received Baptism. I am the Father’s child. I have touched the waters of the river. This morning I have to be content with asking for and simply receiving the Living Water of the Holy Spirit. This must be the better gift this morning. Send cool refreshment or consuming fire; whatever I need for today.

It is your presence, dear Spirit, that makes us holy. It is your presence that consoles and strengthens, teaches, and guides. Holy Spirit, living water, pour upon me once again. And then, flow out of me to anyone I meet today.

Se paró frente al río Jordán este otoño y oró por "Nuevos comienzos"

Jesús, comienza otro nuevo día. Ojalá pudiera volver a entregarme a ti viniendo a las aguas del río Jordán. Viniste a esta agua mientras te preparabas para tu ministerio. Tu Padre anunció que eres Su Hijo Amado.

He recibido el Bautismo. Soy hijo del Padre. He tocado las aguas del río. Esta mañana tengo que contentarme con pedir y simplemente recibir el Agua Viva del Espíritu Santo. Este debe ser el mejor regalo esta mañana. Envía refresco fresco o fuego consumidor; lo que necesite para hoy.

Es tu presencia, amado Espíritu, la que nos hace santos. Es tu presencia la que consuela y fortalece, enseña y guía. Espíritu Santo, agua viva, derrama sobre mí una vez más. Y luego, fluye de mí hacia cualquier persona que encuentre hoy.
