Heavenly Father, I speak this prayer to you now in gratitude and praise for the gift of mothers. Thank you for the role they play in the family unit. For their teachings, their wisdom, their patience, and understanding.

A mother’s love reflects that of You; selfless, enduring, and unconditional. Mothers are not called into a life of self-sacrificing perfection but one of humility and wisdom. Thank you for the physical, emotional, and spiritual gifts they possess. I pray that you help mothers across the world to be a blessing upon their children. Whether delivering affirmation or discipline, I pray that you help every word and action to be done in love.

I pray that the impact of motherhood is revered throughout society and that these women are acknowledged for their everyday impact on the world. May you guide each of them into fulfilling their purpose here on Earth. As You protect mothers, enable them to protect their children. Father, keep the children physically safe, and guard their hearts and minds.

May their friendships be godly and God-centered, their relationships and marriages built on kindness and upon seeking You first.

Padre Celestial, te dirijo esta oración ahora en gratitud y alabanza por el don de las madres. Gracias por el papel que juegan en la unidad familiar. Por sus enseñanzas, su sabiduría, su paciencia y comprensión.

El amor de una madre refleja el de Ti; desinteresado, perdurable e incondicional. Las madres no están llamadas a una vida de perfección abnegada sino de humildad y sabiduría. Gracias por los dones físicos, emocionales y espirituales que poseen. Ruego que ayudes a las madres de todo el mundo a ser una bendición para sus hijos. Ya sea que brindes afirmación o disciplina, oro para que ayudes a que cada palabra y acción se realice con amor.

Ruego que el impacto de la maternidad sea reverenciado en toda la sociedad y que estas mujeres sean reconocidas por su impacto cotidiano en el mundo. Que guíes a cada uno de ellos para que cumplan su propósito aquí en la Tierra. Así como proteges a las madres, capacítalas para proteger a sus hijos. Padre, mantén a los niños físicamente seguros y protege sus corazones y mentes.

Que sus amistades sean piadosas y centradas en Dios, que sus relaciones y matrimonios se basen en la bondad y en buscarte a ti primero.
