Food for thought:

Yes, we age. Yes, may have aches and pains but if you're in the kingdom of God, it ain't over! Our society glorifies youthfulness, and looks down on aging. But guess what? Who's supposed to have all the wisdom and experience? How can the youth find their way without a mentor or guide who has gone before them?

This prayer is for the one who is counting their days. This is for the one who got a doctor's report and it doesn't look so good! What has the Lord said in His Word? I ask you, whose report will you believe? Will you be like the 10 spies, "But we are like grasshoppers!" Or will you be like Caleb, who said (paraphrasing), God promised it to me when I was 40 and now I'm 80! I don't care if my promised land has giants in it, GIVE ME MY MOUNTAIN! GIVE ME ALL GOD PROMISED ME!

Dear Father,

I come before You asking You to remind Your people of the POWER they have in their tongues! “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21 Lord, remind them of the power of their thoughts and how they see themselves. “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he,” Proverbs 23:7 If they believe it's over, then it's over.

So now Lord, remind them of what You said! YOU will renew their youth like the eagles! YOU said, "They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing…" Therefore, You are faithful to do it! Help us to eat properly and have good exercise habits.That movement and having fun is our friend! May music and laughter continually fill our homes!

There is now no condemnation, so there's no pressure to be perfect but to be disciplined. Help us to take good care of the temple you've given us. Set us in communities of people who help us feel youthful and positive! We decree and declare we can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us! We speak that we prosper and are in health, and our souls are prospering! We are FREE indeed and with long life you satisfy me!

Sí, envejecemos. Sí, puede tener dolores y molestias, pero si está en el reino de Dios, ¡no ha terminado! Nuestra sociedad glorifica la juventud y menosprecia el envejecimiento. ¿Pero adivina que? ¿Quién se supone que tiene toda la sabiduría y la experiencia? ¿Cómo pueden los jóvenes encontrar su camino sin un mentor o guía que los haya precedido?

Esta oración es para el que está contando sus días. ¡Esto es para el que recibió un informe médico y no se ve tan bien! ¿Qué ha dicho el Señor en Su Palabra? Te pregunto, ¿a quién le creerás el informe? ¿Serás como los 10 espías, "Pero somos como saltamontes!" ¿O serás como Caleb, quien dijo (parafraseando), Dios me lo prometió cuando tenía 40 años y ahora tengo 80! No me importa si mi tierra prometida tiene gigantes, ¡DAME MI MONTAÑA! ¡DAME TODO LO QUE DIOS ME PROMETIÓ!

Querido padre,

¡Vengo ante Ti para pedirte que le recuerdes a Tu pueblo el PODER que tienen en sus lenguas! “La muerte y la vida están en poder de la lengua, y el que la ama comerá de su fruto.” Proverbios 18:21 Señor, recuérdales el poder de sus pensamientos y cómo se ven a sí mismos. “Porque cual es su pensamiento en su corazón, tal es él,” Proverbios 23:7 Si ellos creen que se acabó, entonces se acabó.

¡Así que ahora Señor, recuérdales lo que dijiste! ¡Renovarás su juventud como las águilas! TÚ dijiste: "Todavía darán fruto en la vejez; serán frescos y florecientes..." ¡Por lo tanto, Tú eres fiel en hacerlo! Ayúdanos a comer bien y a tener buenos hábitos de ejercicio. ¡Que el movimiento y la diversión sean nuestros amigos! ¡Que la música y las risas llenen continuamente nuestros hogares!
